<

To all my readers who have talent and are pursuing a career in this rough and tumble world of the music industry. The great people over at Colgate/Palmolive have joined with A-List producer Bryan Michael Cox(Making The Band III) and Myspace TV, to offer a great opportunity for up and coming talent.

Press Release :
From now through April 14, artists nationwide can showcase their vocal talent online in the ‘Max Fresh® Video Music Competition’ by uploading video auditions at www.myspace.com/colgatemaxfresh. Eligible contestants must submit a track from the contest’s list of 15 contemporary songs in order to qualify. Entries will be open for public voting beginning April 15, and finalists will be selected based on the top five entries garnering the most votes. To declare this year’s winner, finalists will be judged by a celebrity panel featuring Grammy® award-winning songwriter and producer, Bryan-Michael Cox, Tito el Bambino, popular Latin singer/songwriter, and Danyel Smith, Editor-In-Chief of Vibe magazine.

The winner of this year’s Max Fresh® Video Music Competition will participate in a professional recording session and video production, featuring an original song written and produced by Bryan-Michael Cox, and the opportunity to perform their original song at the All-Access Lounge — the pre-party to Z100 FM’s Jingle Ball, one of New York City’s most popular concert events.
