Spike TV’s DEA Show (10 Minute Clip)

Though Spike TV’s DEA show has keep me glued to the tube every week, there has not been any formal reports as to whether it is a break-out hit.
Spike TV has ordered six one-hour episodes of the new original narrative series which delves into the seedy world of drugs and shows you there is definetly “no honour amongst thieves”. The show’s back drop is Detroit which boasts the highest murder rate in the country.

Each episode shows how low-level drug dealers will lie and set up others dealers to insure their freedom or a lighter sentence. The officers seem to know the streets and their aggressive tactics border on law breaking, and the raid scenes are really pumped up with slick cuts and editing. If this show proves to be a hit, it interesting to see how it will evolve.

Will previous cases and their outcomes be made public or will we just see raids on drug houses and snitches who cooperate with authorities? I guess we will have to stay tuned.

  1. has anyone found if any cases have been thrown out of court or evidence shown on the show wasn’t admissable in court becasue of how the arrest was done or technical issues because of the show?

  2. A show about the DEA has kept you glued to the TV? You should glue yourself to some facts. The agency is almost as much of a joke as the TV show.
