Lil Wayne & Bow Wow To Appear In Post-Katrina Film

Bow Wow and Lil Wayne will star alongside Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington in the upcoming New Orleans sports drama Patriots. Film is based on a true story set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. A high school basketball coach assembles a team of players who previously attended five different schools and leads them to the state championships…

Contrary to popular belief, Bow Wow will play one of the players, not one of the cheerleaders. Lil Wayne will have more of a “cameo” role. Patriots has already started filming in New Orleans and is set for a Nov. 14th release.
