White NYPD Officer Disciplined After Harassing Off-Duty Black Officer
In the words of Reverend Al “you can’t make this stuff up.” Racism and profiling is SO pervasive in the NYPD that two white officers are being implicated in an unjust apprehension of a “black” motorist who just so happened to be the highest ranking “black” member of the NYPD. One of the officers is being disciplined for his unsavory behavior. All of this while tensions are heightened and the NYPD is under renewed scrutiny after three officers got off scott-free for murdering Sean Bell and unlawfully shooting his two buddies.
