The Anatomy of a Protest: Nas vs Fox News

As I approached the Fox News headquarters across the street from Rockerfeller Plaza I encountered a congregation of upwards to 60-80 bodies who had amassed to join MoveOn.org, ColorofChange.org and Nas as they presented the network with a petition signed by over 600,000 people (which was rejected by Fox by the way). The topic of protest was the unfair and unbalanced coverage of Sen. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama by talking heads such as Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity. An hour into the scheduled protest Nas, whose “Untitled” album featuring the scathing Fox rebuttal “Sly Fox” debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts this afternoon, finally arrived and took the podium. As the police became irate with protesters who pushed and shoved to gain position to hear the inaudible MC, Nas had this to say:

Fox News is the new KKK and it’s absurd to hear him try to push it off on http://www.moveon.org. Where do they get these ridiculous people to push their agendas?? It’s infuriating!!

Oh yeah, FOX is biased. BUT, MSNBC, PBS, NBC, CBS, CNN, NPR, the WaPo, the NYT, ABC, & dozens of other liberal old establishment mainstream media outlets who champion socialism, & who are openly cheering for Obama, showing positive stories about him at a rate of three to one compared to the other candidate or the other party, well of course they are all fair & balanced!
Obviously if one buys into this, the propaganda indoctrination tactics are working extremely well. Remember, once they have absolute power, you will be required to tow their party line or suffer the consequences. Just ask anyone who questions even any small part of party doctrine now, perhaps Lieberman?
