I did not even get a chance to really proof read the story prior to this before this revelation broke. Take that to all the people who were saying the lefty bloggers were totally off base. This story gets weirder and weirder as the day progresses.
The Palin family have now admitted that their teenage daughter is pregnant.

ST. PAUL (Reuters) – The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.
Bristol Palin, one of Alaska Gov. Palin’s five children with her husband, Todd, is about five months pregnant and is going to keep the child and marry the father, the Palins said in a statement released by the campaign of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.
Bristol Palin made the decision on her own to keep the baby, McCain aides said.
“We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our heart and mean everything to us,” the Palins’ statement said.
“Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support,” the Palins said.
The Palins asked the news media to respect the young couple’s privacy.
“Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family. We ask the media, respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates,” the statement concluded.

,If Gov Palin is Trig’s mother, I wonder why it is so difficult to find any political pictures of her prior to his birth. All Alaska government sites are not allowing pictures of her without prior appproval of the Governer’s office. The Governer’s site just has a message regarding her acceptance of VP.
Most people running for this most important office would want as much exposure as possible and also would want the pictures shown of her to dispel these rumors.
I don’t know how you people feel, but something isn’t right.
I am a registered Republican but I am really frightened at the thought of this Republican ticket running our beloved country. I am a 65 and have been voting a long time. I consider myself to be an independent thinker and would not vote just because of party affiliation, gender or religion. I’m voting for Barrack
