Six months after he brutally beat her, sexy songbird Rihanna is about to tell a judge that she’s not worried about running into the “Run It” singer.
Her lawyer plans to appear at Brown’s sentencing today to ask the court to ditch the order of protection that bars Brown from coming within 50 yards.
The 21-year-old “Umbrella” singer wants a less-stringent “level one” order, with no distance requirement, her lawyer said.

When Mary Anderson of Fort Bend County allegedly asked rapper Method Man for an autograph after a show last November at Houston’s House of Blues, she claims she got a different kind of signature: A wound in the stomach from a pellet gun.
Anderson’s attorney, Daniel Horowitz, tells Hair Balls that Anderson suffered permanent scarring on her chest, stomach and breast area.
“You can’t just go around the country shooting people like that,” says Horowitz, “and then leave town and not think anything’s going to happen.”
Anderson claims she had to seek medical treatment for the wounds and is suing for assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Horowitz says Method Man has not yet been served.

LOS ANGELES – “Criminal Minds” star Shemar Moore
is recovering with a broken leg after getting hit by a car over the weekend, a rep for the actor confirmed to Access Hollywood.
The 39-year-old actor was struck during a bike ride in L.A. on Saturday.
Following the accident, the actor was taken to an L.A.-area hospital where he was treated for his broken leg.
His rep told Access, “he’s OK” and recuperating from the roadway mishap.
Hopefully he can grab these two and after being jailed in N.Korea they will probably go back to reporting on Jon and Kate.

YOKOHAMA, Japan (AP) – Nissan Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn drove quietly out of the Japanese automaker’s soon-to-open headquarters Sunday in the first public viewing of its new zero-emission vehicle.It was the first time the external design was shown of Nissan Motor Co.‘s environmentally friendly electric automobile, set to go on sale in Japan, the U.S. and Europe next year. The blue hatchback had a sporty design and a recharging opening in the front.
Designer Shiro Nakamura said the vehicle was designed to avoid a stereotypical futuristic design.
“This is not a niche car,” he said. “We didn’t make it unusual looking. It had to be a real car.”

Foster told authorities that she saw Thompson use the device almost daily during the August 2003 murder trial of a man accused of shaking a toddler to death. A whooshing sound could be heard on Foster’s audiotape of the trial. When jurors asked the judge about the sound, Thompson said he hadn’t heard it but would listen for it.
Police built a case against the judge after a police officer testifying in a 2003 murder trial saw a piece of plastic tubing disappear under Thompson’s robe. During a lunch break, officers took photographs of the pump under the desk.
Donald Thompson had spent almost 23 years on the bench and had served as a state legislator before retiring from the court in 2004. He showed no reaction when he was sentenced.
At his trial this summer, his former court reporter, Lisa Foster, testified that she saw Thompson expose himself at least 15 times during trial between 2001 and 2003. Prosecutors said he also used a device known as a penis pump during at least four trials in the same period.
Thompson, 59, was convicted last month of four felony courts of indecent exposure for incidents that took place in his Creek County courtroom.

LAKELAND – Antavio Johnson got a bad rap — so say some lawyers who specialize in First Amendment law.
Johnson is doing two years in prison after pleading no contest to two counts of threatening a public servant. The threats came in a rap Johnson’s lawyer said was recorded two to three years ago.
“He was a kid who was frustrated with police, he was being harassed and it was a way for him to vent his frustration,” said Gil Colon, Johnson’s attorney.
The problem is that frustration came out in lyrics saying, in part “…I’ma going to kill me a cop one day…”
The threats were directed at two Lakeland police officers.
“To outright say you’re going to kill a law enforcement officer is a very stupid thing to do,” said the Lakeland Police Department’s Jack Gillen. According to assistant state attorney Chip Thullbery, it was more than stupid, it was a crime.
“These were specific threats made to specific people for all the world to hear,” Thullbery told Fox 13.

DECATUR, Ga. – Authorities are investigating two Atlanta-area police officers accused of using government computers to run a criminal background check on President Barack Obama.
DeKalb County police spokeswoman Sheila Edwards confirmed Thursday that officers Ryan White and C.M. Route have been placed on paid administrative leave while the July 20 incident is investigated. She said both officers have worked for the department for about two years.
County public safety director William Miller said in a prepared statement Wednesday the officers’ actions will “not be tolerated by the county.”
“I want everyone to know that we take these allegations very seriously,” he said. “We expect our officers to adhere to professional standards and departmental policy. Furthermore, we do not and will not condone the inappropriate use of county equipment or resources.”
Miller said the police department was notified by the U.S. Secret Service that DeKalb County computers were used to run a check on Obama. He did not say what the officers’ motive may have been.
Edwards would not comment on possible punishment for the officers but said there are multiple factors to consider, including violation of internal department policy and a possible criminal aspect related to invasion of privacy.
