Porsche has released a new video of the sleek 918 Spyder hybrid. In the video Michael Mauer, Porsche AG Design Chief, sheds some light on the journey behind the 918 Spyder, while the car makes its driving debut on a closed road in Monterey, California. The 918 Spyder hybrid packs a mid-mounted 500HP 3.4 liter V8 engine in addition to a pair of electric motors which produces an impressive 218-horsepower. Production for the hybrid is already in progress and pricing is expected to be around $650,000.
