WTF?

According to the complaint, Grampa “engaged in inappropriate conduct and contact with a minor student ranging from soliciting and allowing students to massage her, in exchange for rewards, allowing students to touch her in an inappropriate manner and failing to take reasonable and corrective action with respect to improper touching.”
The Broward School Board on Tuesday suspended a Cooper City Elementary School teacher accused of soliciting a massage from students.
Schools Superintendent Jim Notter recommended a five-day suspension for Cheryl Grampa, 45, for at least one incident that occurred during the 2009-10 school year, according to an administrative complaint filed by the school district.
The suspension was upheld by the school board Tuesday morning without debate.
Grampa has been teaching since 1998, long enough to know better than to ask a student for a massage, said Notter. He also wants Grampa to undergo classroom management training and for the suspension to serve as a “last chance,” allowing the district to fire her for any future violation.
