Thundercats CGI Test Footage Video
Warner Bros. is set to premiere a new Thundercats series on the Cartoon Network later this year. But before that came to fruition, a Thundercats CGI adaptation, based on the popular animated series that debuted in 1985, was set to hit theaters in 2012. And it has since been shelved. Today, CGI test footage from this planned big screen outing has leaked online.
The following footage hasn’t been classified as official just yet, but the action on display falls in line with concept art that was leaked more than two years ago, when Jerry O’Flaherty was set to direct the project. You can check out the test footage below and decide for yourself.

– When Marvel Comics Executive Editor Tom Brevoort told CNN in December that “something new” would come out of the recent death of the Fantastic Four’s Human Torch, he wasn’t kidding.
For starters, they won’t even be using the name Fantastic Four. On Wednesday, Marvel announced that the team is now going to be called the Future Foundation, debuting in “FF” No. 1 in March.

Along the top are four Facebook buttons: People, Events, Notifications, and Places. The People button shows you the feeds of your closest friends as determined by Facebook’s Open Graph API. It’s like a friends and family circle on a mobile calling plan, except it shows you the feeds of your “top” friends, which you can swipe through. The phone also ingests all the details it can about your Facebook friends into the local address book so you have one unified social address book.
This dude was super dumb but this woman was very deceitful and probably was thrown some cash by people at Gawker. Either way nothing is private anymore once you turn on the computer. Great scoop for Gawker though.

A gym teacher in Ohio who allegedly had sex with several high school football players now faces multiple counts of sexual battery.
Stacy Schuler, who has been on paid administrative leave since mid-January when the claims first surfaced, was indicted Friday on 16 counts of sexual battery and three misdemeanor counts of offenses involving underage persons, the Dayton Daily News reported.
I don’t understand these guys at all. Did they not settle and get a whopping $65 million bucks? Classic jocks vs. geeks story that won’t die. Not such a good week for Mark cause besides these two dicks, his stalker is being a major pest as well.

As a follow up to the Transformers: Autobots Infographic posted last week, we have a new infographic detailing the Decepticons (cars and other land vehicles) from the original American Transformers Generation 1 cartoon, which aired from 1984 to 1987. I’ve been told that, as the series is from 1980s, not all of the art was readily available — thus, some artistic liberties were taken in order to represent as many Decepticons as possible while keeping as true to the spirit of the Generation 1 series as possible.

A new Harvard study (PDF) says American students need to begin to decide in middle school whether they want to prepare for four-year college and then a career. The alternative approach, the study says, is to begin vocational training for a job earlier.
The study is inspired by European systems of education, and its authors say too many students are graduating high school without middle-level skills that could help them land well-paying jobs as electricians, for example. About a third of jobs in the next decade won’t require a four-year college education, the study says, and this program would help American kids prepare for them. Read more…
