Oh yeah, San Francisco pitcher Brian Wilson is in this as well.

Facebook Rules B*tches.
Mark Zuckerberg announced a new Facebook redesign, without revealing any major details. The focus of the press conference was video calling, through Skype; though, unlike Skype, Facebook users will not require a specific program to utilize the technology, only a plug-in, which they can download whenever someone requests chatting with them:

Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) wants answers. Security researchers today revealed the existence of a file on iPhones and on their computer backups that logs detailed cell phone triangulation data—and has ever since iOS 4 was released last summer. The information is stored unencrypted by default, and is simple to access. That announcement led Franken to fire off a two-page letter (PDF) today, asking nine pointed questions of Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
The letter concludes with a list of questions.
- Why does Apple collect and compile this location data? Why did Apple choose to initiate tracking this data in its iOS 4 operating system?
- Does Apple collect and compile this location data for laptops? Read more…

2K Sports is putting some space between itself and the ad, claiming that it really had nothing at all to do with it. “As part of the process for creating marketing campaigns to support our titles, we pursue a variety of creative avenues,” the company told Joystiq. “This video is not part of the title’s final marketing campaign and its distribution was unauthorized.”
Absolutely dope in every aspect. The time it took this shows these guys are relentless in their pursuit to do next level sh
What Mario would look like if it was a sweet next-gen first person shooter!
After not touching 3dsMax since the mailboxes in Jedi Assholes, Brandon decided to get his 3d chops back. We’ve been working on this in the background for the last three weeks. Don’t expect full 3d movies on a weekly basis, it took over 60 hours to render this beast out!
3dsMax, FumeFX, and After Effects were used to make this.
This is just plain dope. Check out how it looks at night a couple of minutes into the video. I am totally convinced that the line between movies and real life is totally blurred.
What a week for Twitter?
The network has had the circus that is Charlie Sheen join and get probably a record breaking Twitter followers in 24 hours, and one of their biggest celebrity users Ashton Kutcher’s account was hacked. With this happening if Ashton decides that he will no longer use the site because of this compromise will more big time celebs follow and ditch the service?
The two tweets following the hack were, “Ashton, you’ve been Punk’d. This account is not secure. Dude, where’s my SSL?” and “P.S. This is for those young protesters around the world who deserve not to have their Facebook & Twitter accounts hacked like this. #SSL”
The tweets were posted to his account @aplusk on Wednesday evening and were still on his page as of 8:50 p.m. Eastern Time (screenshot below).

Obama chose these 12 titans of technology because “American companies like these have been leading by investing in the creativity and ingenuity of the American people, creating cutting-edge new technologies and promoting new ways to communicate.”
New Press Secretary Jay Carney instead released an email which described the evening as the president’s chance to discuss “his proposals to invest in research and development and expand incentives for companies to grow and hire, along with his goal of doubling exports over five years to support millions of American jobs.”

Along the top are four Facebook buttons: People, Events, Notifications, and Places. The People button shows you the feeds of your closest friends as determined by Facebook’s Open Graph API. It’s like a friends and family circle on a mobile calling plan, except it shows you the feeds of your “top” friends, which you can swipe through. The phone also ingests all the details it can about your Facebook friends into the local address book so you have one unified social address book.

Since headphones are selling and the music isn’t, 50 Cent follows Dr. Dre’s brilliant business move by getting involved with Sleek Audio to produce his own line of high end headphones.
Sleek — which tickled our ears quite pleasantly with last year’s SA1 — is apparently gearing up to unveil something special here at CES. Mum’s the word on what, exactly, but judging by the image above, we’re assuming it’ll be a pair of high-end wireless (Kleer?) headphones with the backing of 50 Cent.
Expect to see these on 28th Street, matter fact I will put money up that they are already there. Images courtesy of Dan Frommer, Business Insider

One of our colleagues just got back from a trip to China, and she brought us back a gift: This fake iPhone 4.
From far away, it looks pretty real — never mind that Apple hasn’t actually started selling the white iPhone 4 yet, because of some manufacturing problems.

(By BARBARA ORTUTAY, AP/Huffington Post) NEW YORK — MySpace, the online social hub that’s been fighting to stay relevant in the age of Facebook and Twitter, is overhauling its image and its website into an entertainment destination for its mostly younger audience.
I guess people still used Limewire but I stopped many years ago when it became infected with viruses and a bunch of crap but it was the sh*t when it first came out. The music industry still dropped the ball on this because they had the first opportunity to use this technology and they balked and basically self destructed and will probably never recover.
Newser) – File-sharing site LimeWire has been effectively killed off by a court order. A federal judge has issued an injunction ordering the service to permanently disable its software and to end the sharing of unauthorized music files, the Wall Street Journal reports. The popular site was found liable for copyright infringement on a “massive scale” six months ago.
I guess this is sorta of a big deal because this right now is the number #1 trending topic on Twitter.
It’s hard to believe that what we’re looking at is real — but we assure you, the picture above is in fact the PlayStation Phone you’ve long been waiting for.
