I have not watched Law and Order in years for the record. They have probably done 10,000 episodes and their constant recycling of recent news headlines is kind of boring to me right now. That being said, they still have a relatively consistent hardcore fan base that will probably eat up this Chris Brown and Rihanna inspired episode.

You know when Roseanne blogs she always makes waves, here’s her latest rant on Chris Brown in a post called “Chris Brown’s Lies and Excuses…“:
“make me want to beat the crap out of him…he uses the language of the perpetrator just like every sleazy bastard who ever smacked his wife, kid mother or girlfriend around uses. you dirty bastard, I hope you go to prison for ten years. IT’S YOUR FAULT, ASSHOLE! as for all the mealy mouthed hollywood and music scene chicks that can’t bring themselves to condemn a misogynistic bully, let me say this: your time as whores for propaganda is ending, bitches.”
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – , who was arrested last weekend on suspicion of attacking a woman widely believed to be the pop star , said on Sunday he was “sorry and saddened” about the incident, and was seeking counseling.
He hired a public relations company that specializes in crisis management to issue a five-sentence statement in which he also said many media and blog reports have been wrong.
“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”
He did not mention his father, who was quoted on Friday as telling People magazine that his son was “very remorseful.”
Police and prosecutors have not officially disclosed that Rihanna was the victim of Brown’s attack just after midnight on February 8. But unidentified police sources told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna was the victim, and numerous media outlets have reported the same information.
Brown turned himself in to police, and he was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats against a woman. The is still investigating, and a spokeswoman for the L.A. District Attorney’s Office said a decision has not yet been made on whether to file charges.
Celebrity websites and magazines have reported that the incident happened shortly after Brown left a Beverly Hills party with Rihanna as his passenger. The 20-year-old native of Barbados suffered bruises on her face and a split lip, according to several reports.
Brown added in his statement: “Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to , on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, many of Brown’s showbiz comrades have defended him. Most recently, hip-hop star Kanye West said, “Can’t we give Chris a break?” during a taping of VH1′s “Storytellers” on Friday.
Aspiring female rapper Persia of VH1′s White Rapper Show is facing jail time over ramifications from an ongoing, two year domestic violence dispute.
According to Persia, real name Rachel Mucerino, the issue stems from a continuing domestic dispute with an estranged ex-boyfriend who has threatened to kill her, her mother, and six-month old daughter.
Although a restraining order can be obtained, the law prevents any arrest until an actual crime is committed.
Also, Persia felt the authorities were not addressing the issue to its full extent since her ex is allegedly a valuable police informant.
She alleges that the last straw came when the ex-boyfriend caused her mother to have a heart attack by dousing the back of her house with gasoline.
In addition, the ex allegedly called VH1 and threatened extortion by revealing the winner of the White Rapper Show before its airing. Read more…
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) — Don Cornelius, the former host of the television show “Soul Train,” was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, police said Saturday.
Police were called to his Hollywood Hills home late Friday after someone reported a domestic dispute, Officer Sam Park said.
The 72-year-old producer was taken to jail, where he was booked for investigation of felony domestic violence, Park said. He was released on $50,000 bail and ordered to appear in court next month.
Park said he did not know whom Cornelius was suspected of assaulting.
A call to Cornelius’ production office was not immediately returned.
Cornelius started “Soul Train” in 1970 to showcase black music and culture, introducing television audiences to such legendary artists as Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Barry White. The series spawned a franchise that includes the Soul Train Music Awards, the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards and the Soul Train Christmas Starfest.
Cornelius stepped down as “Soul Train” host in 1993.
