it was only a matter of time until someone capitalized off of the hysteria, other than the US Govt. It’s still hard to imagine a fiend running up, saying “you got that Ebola?” I don’t recall there ever being packs of dope labeled “AIDS” when that was the national hysteria, but you know….I may be wrong.
This dude is the scum of the earth and used his influence to rob, scam and possibly in effect church members with the A.I.D.S virus all in the name of the Lord.
The pastor of an Alabama Baptist church has confessed that he knowingly exposed women congregants to HIV by having sex with them while ill with AIDS. Montgomery’s WSFA Channel 12 reported that now ex-Pastor Juan Demetrius McFarland of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church made a series of revelations to the congregation in sermons that have left parishioners shaken, angry and confused.
McFarland has admitted to misuse of church funds, taking illicit drugs and seducing multiple women congregants, all the while knowing that he was suffering from full-blown AIDS.
That headline is a bit misleading. It is actually the story of Gary Webb who discovered how the C.I.A was implicit in the drug trade and using the likes of the real Rick Ross to funnel massive amounts of drugs into the country and using the profits to fund various wars.
Two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (“The Bourne Legacy”) leads an all-star cast in a dramatic thriller based on the remarkable true story of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Webb. Webb stumbles onto a story which leads to allegations that the CIA was aware of major dealers who were smuggling cocaine into the U.S., and using the profits to arm rebels fighting in Nicaragua. Webb keeps digging to uncover a conspiracy with explosive implications — and draws the kind of attention that threatens not just his career, but his family and his life.
So if this sexual abuse and pedophilia is going on in Hollywood, what is going on in the music industry? Promising young teenage boys movie roles in exchange for sex is a sick practice and these executives who participate in this behavior needed to be outed and charged as sexual predators and jailed.
X-Men director Bryan Singer is accused of drugging and anally raping Michael F. Egan III, who was allegedly underage at the time. And now Singer may have company in court.
Egan’s lawyer Jeff Herman, explained that he’s going to sue for three more incidents, saying, “I’m going to file three more lawsuits Monday in Hawaii alleging three other Hollywood insiders were participating in the abuses of Mike Egan.”
Meanwhile, Singer’s lawyer maintains that this case is total bunk, saying: “It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan’s new movie is about to open in a few weeks.”
Bill Cosby gets the same treatment R. Kelly got from The Village Voice, from blogsite Gawker, who details the many sexual assault accusations made against lovable comedian and actor Bill Cosby who is slated to head up a new sitcom on NBC sometime in the near future. I do remember these accusations being leveled at the comedian a few years back and according to Gawker’s Tom Scocca, Cosby quietly settled a few of the cases preventing the victims from speaking on their accusations of him (drugging and sexual assaulting them while unconscious) publicly any further. If any of these stories are true, I should hope everyone agrees that sexual predator is a sexual predator regardless of he is the funniest or most lovable grandpa on the planet.
So the current crisis over how people are supposed to feel about Woody Allen is on some level odd. Woody Allen’s status as an accused child molester has been a matter of public record since before Manhattan Murder Mystery came out. Anyone who didn’t think about it before now had chosen not to think about it.
The leader of Public Enemy speaks on Trayvon Martin and how he feels the Reagan and Bush presidencies contributed to the proliferation of druga nd guns in the black community.
Dumb athlete of the decade.
