Lil Wayne obviously has no PR firm that is trying to stop the bleeding from his biggest blunder of his storied rap career. After going on the radio to apologize to Miami and Lebron James (sans Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh)for his recent rant at his NBA party in Houston. That all aside, he still has not addressed this issue and the radio hosts who interviewed omitted any questions about his ‘beat the pussy up like Emitt Till’ lyric on Future’s remix of his track called “Karate Chop”. This remains something that needs to be publicly addressed and his needs to sincerely apologize to the family of Emitt Till. The estate of Emmitt Till has penned an open letter to him. Here is an excerpt below via Huff Post.
Yesterday marked a week since the “unofficial” release of “Karate Chop~remix” inclusive of your lyrics. The words we speak are powerful enough for preservation of life but also have the capacity to destroy it. When you spit lyrics like “Beat that p—-y up like Emmett Till”, not only are you destroying the preservation and legacy of Emmett Till’s memory and name, but the impact of his murder in black history along with degradation of women.
I thought senators have more pressing issues to deal with.
I have criticized Nicki plenty based on her direction musically but I must say this is a huge deal for her and she gets props from me even though I don’t like any of her recent songs. Lil Wayne is just probably just scratching the surface of what he can earn from corporate America. More below:
Nicki Minaj became the first female to grace FORBES’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings last year, pulling in $6.5 million, enough to land the No. 15 spot on the annual accounting of rap’s top earners. Expect her bulging bank account to grow even more in 2012 following a massive deal she recently signed with Pepsi.
According to Derek Jackson, the Glu agency chief who brokered the agreement, Minaj will become the face of a new Pepsi beverage nearing its debut. He said the pact, which includes a commercial filmed in South America last month (pixely footage has already leaked on YouTube), is a multimillion-dollar deal.
“You’ll see the commercial probably in the next two months,” Jackson told me before Lil Wayne’s performance at South By Southwest. “That’ll be a segue into a new beverage Pepsi has, called ‘Pop,’ and she’ll be the face of the brand … it’s going to be explosive.”
The Lime green boots on Lil Wayne need a video all their own. I guess he was matching it with the watch.
SWAG! NOW WATCH HIM COOK!!!
N.O.R.E grabs Hip Hop’s biggest artist Lil Wayne for his collabo with Pharrell.
Let’s try this again.
I slept on this.

What is up with these guys who consistently are shaken down by the IRS? It would seem after the multi-million dollar pay outs they have made in the past they would find some people to handle their money and make sure the taxes are paid on the massavie amounts of money they generate every year.
The IRS filed a $5,610,034 tax lien against Carter on March 28 with the Miami-Dade County Clerk. According to the lien, which you can see below, he owes income taxes from 2008-09.
Please watch and discuss. The name of the group is Watoto From The Nile.
“Letter to Lil Wayne” is a direct statement of justice from Watoto From The Nile. Growing tired and fed up with the constant degredation of Black women inside of Hip Hop music, they voice thier views and opinions on this melodic track.
Say what you want, but this DJ Khaled formula has worked before and it will work again with this new banger called “Welcome to My Hood”. Check out Rick Ross performing it live for the first time.
Sorry for the late pass but at least I am quicker than Lil Kim with the Black Friday video. Anyway here is Lil Wayne jumping on his protege’s most talked about song “Roman Revenge” from her platinum album Pink Friday.
The two biggest in Hip Hop today grace the SNL stage and perform some of their hits. Enjoy.
There are so many different ways to go with this but since it seems Wayne has been pretty sober since his release I will leave it alone.
PIX News took a ride along with Newark police yesterday and saw the spoils of a drug bust: 500 bricks of heroin. The stash was hidden inside a side panel of an suv, latched shut by a special motor that was built specifically for the purpose of transporting illegal drugs. The packets have brand names too, these were called “Lil wayne ” named after the popular musician. The destination of the drugs, worth $250 million, the streets of Newark.
If you guys, particularly rappers, don’t know anything about Wendy Day, I suggest you do your research. This video below about her bout with Cash Money Records from a new documentary called The Big Payback, is just a snippet about her contribution to this business and culture. I was one of the many people who read her columns, articles, and advice from her website RapCoalition.org. Before the record industry was totally changed and some say permanently damaged by file sharing, she was preaching artist independence back in the day when artists still sold millions of records and life seemed to be good.
She always said artists were getting the raw end of the existing deals and that it would come to a head sometime in the near future. When asked why artist continued to sign oppressive she summed it saying that she thought artist were more concerned with being famous then making money off their art. Not only did help Cash Money, No Limit, and Eminem, but was also was instrumental in David Banner and Twista being freed from their oppressive contracts. I know this because I was an online student of hers and she gave me advice about my aspirations on the business side of this game.
Somebody shoot the barber for even attempting this.

Rapper Lil Wayne may not have to spend any time behind bars in Arizona on drug and weapon charges once he gets out of jail in New York, after entering a plea agreement with prosecutors in Yuma County Superior Court Friday morning.
I have never posted anything on this blog about the social media phenomenon of Kat Stacks, but she has become so big that she is now trending consistently on Twitter and Ad age has written a brief article that they have entitled “Is Kat Stacks the Creepiest Twitter Trend Ever?”
via Ad Age
The hip-hop take-over of Twitter continues, with perhaps the creepiest social-media-created celebrity brand ever, Kat Stacks, taking the No. 10 spot on our list. Stacks, for the uninitiated, is a hip-hop groupie who uses social media to detail her alleged conquests. Her Twitter stream is so x-rated I’m not even going to link to it, and you can find videos on YouTube with titles like “Kat Stacks Speaking on Sleeping With Lil Wayne, Nelly, Bow Wow and Entire Young Money!” (Bow Wow, for one, has denied even knowing her, let alone having sex with her.)
This is the blowhard that Lil Wayne will be dealing with in about 10 months.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced a new program where inmates have to pedal on exercise bicycles to watch television.
Inmates will pedal on a bike that generates 12 volts, enough electrical current to power a 19-inch tube television at the Tent City television viewing area. One hour of pedaling equals one hour of television watching.
The highly anticipated video from two of the biggest stars in Hip Hop. Hopefully this wont get taken down.

QD3 Entertainment presents the world youtube premiere of the first 10 min of the Lil’ Wayne Sundance Documentary “The Carter” fresh from the presses. Order your copy at official site http://thecarterdoc.com
From QD3′s doc on rap phenomenon Lil Wayne, we are shown that he drinks cough syrup which is probably the worst example of Hip Hop to show our kids.
At least we know he will be not be drinking that stuff during his upcoming stint in prison. Get well Wayne, make music and stop killing yourself with the drugs.
This is definitely a bad year for rappers and jail time.
One gun charge down, one to go.
Rapper Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted weapons possession charges today (October 22). As reported by AllHipHop.com yesterday (October 21), the rapper is expected to receive a maximum sentence of one year in jail, although he is expected to serve around eight months in prison for the offense. The rapper had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, but changed the plea to avoid a trial that was due to start January 20 and could have resulted in at least 3 ½ years in prison. The guilty plea stems from an incident in New York in 2007, after police found a .40 caliber handgun during a search of his tour bus. Originally, lawyers for Wayne planned to contest the charges. Yesterday (October 21), the plea was entered after Wayne’s DNA evidence was allegedly found on the weapon and deemed admissible by a judge. Lil Wayne, 27, also faces a trial in Arizona for felony drug possession and weapons charges, after a 2008 arrest during a routine stop at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint.

Here is a clip of the upcoming documentary he tried to fight by producer and filmaker QD3.
Wow! No longer is celebrity a shield in this country when it comes to committing a serious crime.
Concerning Lil Wayne, he still has another serious gun charge to deal with the celeb hating police dept. in Arizona. Will being away for 8 months effect his career or will this just add to his street cred?
The rapper is expected to accept an 8-month bid in jail over his alleged involvement with a loaded .40-caliber pistol gun found on his tour bus in 2007 while in New York.
The 27-year-old now faces 15 years in jail for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
“Wayne is going to plead guilty,” a source close to the case told AllHipHop.com, stressing that this was definitely going to happen. The rapper pleaded not guilty at press time and has yet to make any such public declaration. “The date is coming up and he’s going to do it tomorrow.”
Wayne is rumored to be willing to accept the deal to avoid a long term in jail over the gun. The same source said the term will begin in February of 2010 under the terms of the deal. “If he doesn’t plead, he goes to jail for a long time,” the source said.
“They told him that if he doesn’t plead tomorrow, it will go to trial and then he faces a far longer jail term,” the source continued.
Later this month, “The Simpsons” will jump into its 21st season with yet another entry in the fantastic “Treehouse of Horror” franchise. To celebrate the upcoming milestone and to pay respects to some great hip-hop icons, Format and Moxy Creative have teamed up to produce a series of limited-edition posters that depict 10 famous rappers “Simpsonized.” The results are pretty great. As you can see in the posse shot below, some real heavy hitters are represented: Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Flavor Flav, Andre 3000, Eminem, Eazy-E and Fat Joe have all been converted into cartoon versions of their former selves.
I guess he will split this up with child support in a couple of months. Check out a dope clip from the tour by @KNBranded.
LOS ANGELES (Billboard) – The final numbers are in for Lil Wayne’s 2008-2009 North American touring, and it appears the rapper will have the highest grossing hip-hop outing of the year — and the most lucrative rap jaunt that Billboard has ever tracked.
Seventy-eight Lil Wayne headlining arena and amphitheater concerts in North America from December 14, 2008, through September 6, 2009, grossed about $42 million and drew nearly 804,000 fans, according to Shawn Gee, Lil Wayne’s tour producer and tour business manager.
“It’s definitely one of the biggest in the last couple of years,” Gee tells Billboard.com. “Our plan was to prove that Wayne was a viable headlining arena artist.”
Okay it took me awhile to warm up to this cat, but I am slowly listening to some of his non radio tracks. He might have something of a career but he is gonna have to switch up his subject matter soon for me to give official co-sign. Anyway kiddies here is new banger called “Fear”.
No matter how safe you think you are in your own hood, there is always the chance that you can be robbed if you are wearing jewelry worth thousands of dollars. Dumb rappers need teaching.
The homie Roshine just sent this recent performance of Drake(nursing a torn ACL) back in his hometown of Toronto during the Americas Most Wanted Tour.Nice!
The Duffle Bag Boys are back with ‘Look What I Got ‘. Responsible for helping to launch Lil Wayne into super stardom these guys you a dose of music to ride to!
