[video] “Give us your cash, Bitch!” Politic ad Sparks Outrage (WTF)

June 15, 2011 4 comments

This is straight cooness on every level from the politician and from the idiots who are starring in it.

via Yahoo

Democrats are expressing outrage over a web adlaunched yesterday targeting Democrat Janice Hahn in California’s upcoming 36th District special election. (Warning: the ad contains extremely offensive images and language.)

The web commercial, which claims to be paid for by a new group called “Turn Right USA,” accuses Hahn of giving gang members money so they can “rape and kill again.” The ad features a faceless blonde, white woman (Hahn is blonde and white) grinding on a stripper poll and getting bills stuffed into her shorts, as two black men portraying gangsters sing: “Give me your cash, b*tch, so we can shoot up the street. Give me your cash, b*tch, so we can buy some more heat.”

[video] Hustla ‘the Empire on the Rise’ (starring Yung Brodee)

My directorial debut. Thanks to all involved it was a pleasure working with you and can’t wait to shoot the next episodes, should be great fun.

Hustla “the Empire on the Rise” is a vivid look at the life of Marques Edwards aka Yung Brodee, a rap artist who is being watched by rogue DEA agents hellbent on arresting him for being a drug kingpin.

The story unfolds in a quiet suburb of Los Angeles where his every move is being watched and monitored. Will he prove his innocence or be taken down by the DEA is the question answered in this gritty thriller.

Starriing Joie Chavez, Kip Pierce, Brandon Wyse, and Brad Alan.

[video] New evidence heats up the investigation into Biggie Smalls murder

January 7, 2011 2 comments

Last week twitter was all abuzz about Suge Knight being arrested for the death of Biggie Smalls aka Notorious B.I.G. Well it seems that it was not some unfounded hoax, and that new evidence concerning the case has arisen.

via CNN

A task force made up of local and federal law enforcement agencies is actively pursuing leads into the 1997 slaying of hip hop artist Christopher Wallace, better known as Biggie Smalls or Notorious B.I.G., according to two sources familiar with the investigation. According to one law enforcement source, the investigation into the 13-year-old unsolved case was “reinvigorated” months ago as a result of new information, but the source would not elaborate further because of the ongoing investigation that includes the Los Angeles Police Department, L.A. County District Attorney’s Office and the FBI.

[video] The World Stops for the King of Pop Memorial (STICKY POST)

Even in his farewell, Michael Jackson has united people acoss the world and provided us with an opportunity to focus on the power of love rather than on our differences. Anyone who tuned into the live broadcast of the memorial for the King of Pop would at the very least have been moved when Paris Jackson tearfully told the world that “my daddy was the best father.”

While receiving worldwide coverage, Michael Jackson’s memorial was heartfelt and intimate as Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Brooke Shields, Queen Latifah, Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz, Usher, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Motown founder Barry Gordy, Rev. Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King III and Bernice King shared their stories.

From Magic Johnson’s story of Michael Jackson enjoying Kentucky Fried Chicken to Al Sharpton telling Paris, Blanket and Prince that there wasn’t anything strange about their father brought truth center stage.

With such a beautiful out pour of love for Michael as he is laid to rest, we cannot help but wish that he was here see and feel our embrace. What if we would have stood up for him when mainstream media sought to destroy him. Only after his death do we hear so many public professions of love and stern proclamations of Michael’s innocence against the child molestation allegations.

Even the admission of Jordan Chandler that his father pushed him to lie on Michael Jackson is not enough to shield MJ from the critics venom as we were forced to listen to damning speculations and negativity that usurped his legend in the mainstream media throughout the week. And while critics took shots, the fans persistently celebrated his life with tributes from NYC to China.

In this, I hope we learn that it is our obligation to stand up for truth and seize the moment to share our love for each other while time allows. Furthermore, we understand that we, the people, the public, have the power to shape to provoke and accomplish real change.

Thank you Michael.
