While everyone may not agree Adidas’s tweeting shoe is pushing the social networking to be even more fashionable. Adidas is calling it the “future of athlete connectivity” as they prepare for the 2016 Olympics.
Michael Phelps deserves another gold medal – for stamina in the sack, according to a stripper who claims she had a threesome with the swim champ.
“The sex lasted for about three hours,” Baltimore stripper Theresa White told Britain’s News of the World. “Michael should get another Olympic gold for marathon love-making!”
White, 25, claims Phelps invited her and some of her lap-dancing pals to his apartment, and that’s where the action allegedly took a kinky turn after two hours of drinking. White said she approached Phelps for a three-way: “He told me he’d never had one before but said it would be with me and then pointed at another girl.
“Everybody else stayed put while we went upstairs and jumped into bed,” she said.

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – New details have emerged about a party where Olympic champion Michael Phelps was spotted.
On Feb. 2, a British tabloid published a picture of the 14-time Olympic gold medalist using a water pipe to smoke marijuana. The picture was taken at a party in Columbia back in November when Phelps was here for a visit.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department has been taking a lot of heat from people in this country and all over the world.
They want to know why Sheriff Leon Lott is going after Michael Phelps.
Many are saying the sheriff should concentrate on more serious crimes, or at the very least, not focus solely on the Olympic champion when there were others at the party who were also breaking the law.
Now it appears the case has expanded beyond Phelps’ activities.
The party took place in November at a house on Blossom Street near Five Points.
It was at that house where someone snapped the photo of Phelps taking a hit on a marijuana pipe called a bong.
Lott says the picture indicated a law was being broken in his jurisdiction. He said he couldn’t ignore the violation just because Phelps is rich and famous.
We’ve now learned that since investigators began trying to build a case, they’ve made eight arrests: seven for drug possession and one for distribution. These are arrests that resulted as the sheriff’s department served search warrants. Read more…
(CNN) — Olympic hero Michael Phelps was suspended from competitive swimming for three months on Thursday — just hours after one of his sponsors announced it would not renew his contract after a photo surfaced of him smoking from a bong.
USA Swimming, the nation’s governing body for competitive swimming, said it was withdrawing financial support for Phelps and barring him from competition during the period of his “reprimand.”
“This is not a situation where any anti-doping rule was violated, but we decided to send a strong message to Michael because he disappointed so many people, particularly the hundreds of thousands of USA Swimming-member kids who look up to him as a role model and a hero,” they said in a statement.
“Michael has voluntarily accepted this reprimand and has committed to earn back our trust,” the statement continued.
Earlier Thursday, Kellogg Co. said it will not renew Phelps’ advertising contract.
“Michael’s most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg,” company spokeswoman Susanne Norwitz said. “His contract expires at the end of February, and we have made a decision not to extend his contract.”
Norwitz said Kellogg’s relationship with Phelps began with the company’s support of the U.S. Olympic team. Kellogg did not renew its sponsorship of the team when it expired in December, she said. Read more…

Michael Phelps’ run at the Olympics — eight gold medals, seven broken world records — is unprecedented, and according to Phelps he couldn’t have done it without Young Jeezy. Phelps typically listened to the Jeezy/R. Kelly collaboration “Go Getta” before hitting the pool, which Jeezy himself doesn’t find surprising. “All my music is inspirational,” he told Rolling Stone’s Evan Serpick. “You just gotta listen to the words and get what you can get out of it.”
Michael Phelps — the man of the hour for the U.S. at the Olympics — is a big fan of Young Jeezy.
I’m a big fan of Michael Phelps! He’s a great success. I like what he’s doing. He’s like the Young Jeezy of the swim world. I love it! Read more…

It’s fair to say that China has waited forever for this moment. In August China plays host to the Olympics and they intend on no one interfering with their ‘coming-out’ ceremony. They are pulling out all the stops to insure no radical monks sabotage this spectacle. These photos surfaced of the Chinese military running drills in preparation of the August 8th event.

With the recent unveiling of the US team for this year’s run at Olympic gold in basketball, Nike held an event to launch the Olympic series of Hyperdunks as well as pay tribute to the US Olympic Basketball teams legacy and past. The styles launched all relate back to various Nike sponsored national teams such as Russia, Argentina, China, Australia, Spain, Puerto Rico, Lithuania and Germany. Within these teams and their respective colorways, marquee players such as Pau Gasol of Spain, Manu Ginobli of Argentina and Dirk Nowitzki of Germany all got further touches added to make these Hyperdunks a little more personal.

The next Olympics will be held in Beijing and begin this year 8-8-08, a date chosen because of it’s cultural significance to the Chinese. The date is said to be lucky, and apparently it is. Gucci has created an 8-piece accessories line in homage to the Olympics slated to be released the same day. The accessories are all red and include two different shoe designs, a bicycle, a watch, a mah jong set, a case and two monogrammed luggage pieces.
Reporters recently caught up with LA Lakers guard Kobe Bryant at a practice session for the upcoming 2008 Olympics. When asked what his response was to some outlandish statements made about him by former teammate Shaquille O’Neal in a recent freestyle, he said “I didn’t take it any kind of way whatsoever,” before declining to harp on the question anymore. Bryant is focusing his energies on bringing home the gold medal from China, where he is looked upon as an iconic figure. He compared the redeeming notion of winning an Olympic medal in China after losing the NBA Finals to the Boston Celtics to drinking a full glass of cold water after having a parched throat. BEIJING, June 16 (Reuters) – China has warned that the Yellow River, the nation’s second longest and known as the nation’s sorrow for its history of tragedy, may suffer serious flooding as the south endures some of its worst storms for decades.
Already reeling from a devastating earthquake, China has suffered floods across its south in recent days that have killed 57 people and forced 1.27 million to move to safer ground, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The national meteorological service has also warned that the 5,500-km (3,400-mile) Yellow River flowing through the north may also see “quite large” floods this year, the official Xinhua news agency reported late on Sunday.
While rebounding, rebuilding and recovering from the worst natural disaster in three decades, China or RED China as she is commonly referred to, has experienced another tragedy that has put the country back on edge. A 6.4 magnitude earthquake tremor is responsible for the collapsing of 70,000 homes, leaving hundreds injured and one dead in addition to the 60,000-80,000 feared dead from the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that leveled China on May 11.
21 million homes were affected by the initial earthquake.
The following after shock tremors were felt hundreds of miles away in Beijing are were the longest so far. Reports have stated 69 dams are in jeopardy of cracking.
“This was already an incredibly disastrous situation and to add an aftershock like this on top of it makes the rescue effort even more difficult.”

The signaling of the changing of the guard is taking place right in front of our face and a recent editorial featured in the UK’s Daily Mail titled Why China is the REAL master of the universe let the cat out the bag. China is quietly being crowned as the next emerging World Superpower while simultneously America is making her embarrasing descent into an inferior global position. The forecast is much bleaker than the talking heads on cable news tell-lie-vision(TV) would have unsuspecting Americans believe.
As the world bears witness China’s arrogance in terms of their handling of the Tibetans and their show of power in London (of all places) alongside the Olympic flame, more people are sitting up, taking notice and asking uncomfortable questions, like “Why are they getting away with this?” “Why aren’t Democratic governments denouncing these abuses?”
