For all you rock heads who read the blog, we know your are out there! Here is a pair of Chuck Talyors from the Prince of Darkness.
Following up on Converse’s music series collection, we get a look into Ozzy Osbourne’s playfully designed Chuck Taylors. Having already released a set of Black Sabbath sneakers, the frontman gets his own rendition this time around. Coming in both a white and black colorway, the shoes are given an all-over print of Ozzy as a cartoon character alongside a simple two-tone upper. Both styles are available at select Converse retailers worldwide.
Following up on a strong presence by Nike and adidas in the skateboard realm, fellow footwear staple Converse has stepped onto the proverbial deck with their entry entitled CONS. The debut release consists of a slightly beefed up All-Star, dubbed the CTS (Chuck Taylor Skate) coming in three colorways. The all-black being reminiscent of a particular pair designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment. Also included in the premiere Converse skate line is the ERX 300, a mid top model based on the classic basketball shoe. Boasting a team consisting of Ethan Fowler, Sammy Baca, Raymond Molinar, Nick Trapasso and Anthony Pappalardo, the CONS line launches in January at core skate shops worldwide.

“How many kids know of the Pigeon Dunk but have never actually seen them with their own two eyes?…”
The almost mythical pigeon derived from the minds over at Staple Design is set for a comeback, three years after its Nike SB Dunk Low’s release sparked wide-spread chaos and panic amidst the streets of New York. This time around, jeffstaple and crew look to New Balance’s trail runner the 575 as the cornerstone of their latest sneaker inspiration. In an in-depth interview with Sneaker Freaker, some pressing issues are featured including what reactions are expected out of the Nike camp as well as jeffstaple’s reasoning behind reliving some a historic shoe which he mentions changed the face of the sneaker world. For the shoe itself, the color placement is actually quite similar to the original SB Dunk including the what reactions are expected out of the Nike camp as well as jeffstaple’s reasoning behind reliving some a historic shoe which he mentions changed the face of the sneaker world. For the shoe itself, the color placement is actually quite similar to the original SB Dunk including the pigeon-foot orange seen on the lining and sole. Also seen is a new embroidery on the heel featuring a flying pigeon to go alongside the original standing pigeon. Following up on Staple Design’s recent involvement with Lomo, a Pigeon-colored Lomo camera will also release. Singapore has already announced an August 6th release at Leftfoot Singapore and Le Vault.
Spanish outfit 24 Kilates has once again teamed up with New Balance on the legendary 1500 model to produce this Joan Miró joint. Continuing with their theme of paying homage to Catalan artists, Miro’s style and color palette fit well with the generally more color liberal population of the Southern parts of Europe. No word yet on a release date.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was one of Matthew Broderick’s first films that first debuted more than two decades ago in 1986. Since it has be come a cross generational classic routinely in the top lists of DVD sales of 1980’s films. The movie later became a TV series that starred Jennifer Anniston pre-Friends and was the inspiration for the ska band’s name “Save Ferris.”
Nike SB has drawn inspiration in the past from icons of the eighties in the past with shoes taking cues from Pee Wee Herman, Vanilla Ice, and Milli Vanilli to name a few. Much attention to detail was used when designing the Ferris Bueller Dunk Highs with a leopard print tongue and laces to match his vest, grey toe cap to hook to his pants, and the cream and brown that are on the jacket Ferris wears.
The Ferris Buelle Dunks will release next month at Nike SB doors. Photo preview given to us by High Snobiety.

Just in time for the summer and a welcome addition as compared to the fake Prada looking joints.
Fila is stepping up their game following the tradition of its competition. Here is the “SILO SERIES” which is aimed at collectors and urban fashionistas.
The “White Line” is extremely limited, and the Rialt, Swagger low, and Tattoo low will also be released in somewhat limited numbers.
We can see the street level direction from the perforation, straps, and tattoo motif embroidery Fila has opted to use. Following its Wu Tang collabo, we hope to see more in the future.

These are crazy and will be released for the holiday season. Can’t wait!!
First Semi-Pro reintroduced the super-short shorts from basketball’s heyday back into the consciousness of the people, now it looks as if Gucci will keep the “throwback” spirit alive by issuing some kicks this summer that pay homage to the sneakers wore on college courts in the 50′s. Sticking to the color scheme that has made them famous, you can be expecting hipsters from Bed-Stuy to Beijing to be adorning the red, white and Gucci green. You gotta holla at your local Gucci retailer to find out when these will be dropping.
First came the Dub Zero. Second, the Spiz’ike. A third time is no surprise from Jordan Brand. The latest hybrid from the Jordan camp is the 6 Rings model. This shoe is a clash of every sneaker His Airness wore while stacking up those Championship rings in the 90′s for the Chicago Bulls, not to mention some of Designer Tinker Hatfield’s best work. We can clearly see a mixture of the Jordan VI, VII, VIII and XI, XII, XIII. The first color way to release will be a Concord AJXI inspired masterpiece with another Black/Red (pictured) version in full production form set to release after. Expect these to hit Jordan Accounts starting November.

Although conceptually driven footwear has hit a low point over the last year, the New Balance A14 576 exemplifies the solid workings of what concepts can do for a sneaker. The 576 references an unlikely source of inspiration in coffee beans to create the colorway. The upper is comprised of hemp and cork with a printed insole and painted ‘N’ logo. Slated for a release in August of 2008.
