A national intelligence agency is now apparently just a click away. Prior to 9/11 different agencies that span the local, state, national and federal level weren’t required and didn’t have the infrastructure to share information across networks but that has changed with the advent of the $85 million Raytheon developed National Data Exchange (N-Dex). The new intelligence system will enable various police agencies to access millions of criminal records and monitor behavioral patterns in what is being called a “one-stop shop” for crime fighters.
