Hip Hop is a global brand that has penetrated every nook and cranny of this planet. A gathering of all of these “Native Tongues” will take place in New York on the 26th of April. The Global Underground Film and Music Mini Fest will celebrate the diversity of the many cultures that are utilizing Hip Hop as a voice for the voiceless.
Starting at 2pm and ending at 2am this all day event will feature performances of “positive” Hip Hop and screenings of Hip Hop influenced films from throughout the Diaspora. The screenings kick off at 2pm to 9pm at University Settlement while the performance goes down after 10pm at Drom (85 Ave A) til the lights come on at 2am. See you there.
