Tom Cruise’s African American adopted son Connor will debut as an actor in an upcoming Will Smith film called “Seven Pounds” according to Reuters.
This news is somewhat ironic because I thought I saw somewhere that Cruise’s former wife Nicole Kidman(expecting her third child) wanted her adopted kids out of Scientology.
Well in any case it seems that the acting bug has bitten Connor and what a better opportunity to be in a film with Will Smith. More below:
Despite his pedigree, he had to audition for the Columbia Pictures project, People said.
“Tom is so proud of Connor,” the magazine quoted a source as saying. “He’s proud of him for really doing this on his own.”
Cruise and Kidman adopted two children during their marriage — Connor and 15-year-old daughter Isabella.
Cruise now has another daughter, two-year-old Suri, with his third wife, Katie Holmes. Kidman is expecting a baby with her country-star husband Keith Urban in July.
