Hip-Hop entrepreneur Ludacris continues to expand his business ventures by becoming the first Southern artist to release his own limited edition New Era fitted hat.
Taking the role as cap designer, the rapper-turned-actor has joined forces with the popular headgear company to become the latest addition to their well-known artist-inspired collection, Capture The Flag.
Fully designed by Luda, the signature black fitted will show-off his hometown team Atlanta Braves‘ “A” style crest along the side-front left glistening with both half-clear and half-black crystals on their own side.
The cap also features red piping plus his iconic “Disturbing Tha Peace” logo within the flocked lining and under visor flip along with the “Just Getting Started” logo resting in the back.
Despite the rapper’s vast fan base, there will only be 200 caps available worldwide and will sell for $125.
Other hip-hop artists that have been a part of New Era’s signature collection are Fabolous, Cam’ron, Fat Joe and The Game.
Luda’s hat will be released globally on October 17.
In related news, the Atlanta rapper is also preparing for the release of his sixth album Theater of the Mind. The disc, which follows-up Luda’s platinum-selling Release Therapy, features appearances by T.I., T-Pain, Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne and The Game, among others.
Originally scheduled to drop on November 11th SOHH has learned Theater of the Mind‘s release date has been moved to November 25th.
