President Obama speaks on Supreme Court Decision Concerning Corporate Contributions

Earlier this week, The Supreme Court decides that major corporations should have the right to contribute as much as they want to political candidates. These Supreme Court judges are so out of touch with the real world it is a shame. Anyway here is President Obama speaking on just that.

  1. Yes the Supreme Court is very out of touch in my opinion. Though corporations did not have the right to contribute as much as they wanted to political campaigns, they have consistently spent millions on very powerful lobbyists who have been tilting laws and policy in their favor for generations.

The Constitution has been abused by the powers that be who are only interested in maintaining the status quo. This country needs a serious overhaul beginning with The Supreme Court.

  2. Out of touch? Is the Constitution out of touch? All this time the Unions have been financing political ads all the while corporations have had their hands tied. The Constitution says this is on the same level as taping the mouths of corporations. If individuals can give to campaigns, why can’t organizations and corporations? That’s discrimination and that’s what the USSC ruled.
