California to Vote on forcing Porn Stars to wear Condoms

via LA Times

State regulators are expected to vote Thursday on a petition asking them to require porn industry performers to use condoms and to take other safety measures. The six-member California Division of Occupational Safety and Health standards board appears likely to create an advisory committee to report back on whether the law should be changed and how it could be accomplished.

The board, appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, has up to six months to act on a Dec. 17, 2009 petition filed by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation that seeks to change state law to require safe-sex protections for adult-film workers, including mandatory condom use and more stringent safety training and testing for sexually transmitted diseases.

Earlier this month, staff members recommended that the board create an advisory committee to consider amending the law “in order to give greater protection to employees in the adult film industry.”

Jesse James mistress Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee paid $30,000 for tell-all interview

I think it is digusting that these magazines continously pay these women, who purposely target these guys hoping for a big pay day and instant fame.  Why do these dudes continously get married when they obviously like multiple sex partners.

It just does not make sense to pretend and go through all scandal when he could just stay single and bang as many tatoo’ed chicks as he wants. Don’t feel to sorry for Sandra Bullock either because she have thought otherwise once she found out he had a child from a woman who was a porn star for 23 years straight outta high school.(NSFW)

Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee collected a sizable paycheck for her tell-all interview with In Touch Weekly, Technorati.com reports.

Young people speak up about Sexting & CyberBullying on MTV’s “Over the Line”

MTV’s “A Thin Line” Campaign encourages young people to understand the difference between digital use and digital abuse.

With articles regarding sexting, constant messages, spying, digital disrespect and cruelty; I must say this is an excellent website!  I believe that the best way to overcome an issue is to understand that you are not alone and the “Over the Line” section of A Thin Line allows young people to address difficult personal issues without ridicule.

Users can make anonymous posts or create a profile to share their experiences and have peers rate whether their situation is “Over the Line.” I’ve been reading the posts and I have been compelled to comment.    Check it out!

The application will include stories that range from the humorous to the dramatic and plugs into Facebook, he said.

Fifty percent of 14 to 24 year olds have been the target of some form of digital abuse and 30 percent have sent or received nude photos of other young people on their cell phones or online, according to a December study released by MTV and the Associated Press.

Twelve percent of those who have sexted have contemplated suicide, which is four times higher than those who haven’t, the study concluded.

Pepsi kills soda at schools worldwide

PepsiCo Inc. said Tuesday it will remove full-calorie sweetened drinks from schools in more than 200 countries by 2012, marking the first such move by a major soft-drink producer.

PepsiCo announced its plan the same day first lady Michelle Obama urged major companies to put less fat, salt and sugar in foods and reduce marketing of unhealthy products to children. Pepsi, the world’s second-biggest soft-drink maker, and Coca-Cola Co., the biggest, adopted guidelines to stop selling sugary drinks in U.S. schools in 2006.

The Estate of Michael Jackson signs $200 million dollar deal

I think Michael’s legacy is priceless but this is the music business so the gravy train must continue. I wonder how much money has been made off the Jacksons in total. Would we even have a music industry without them?

LOS ANGELES — The estate of Michael Jackson has landed the late King of Pop the biggest recording deal in history: a $200 million guaranteed contract with Sony Music Entertainment for 10 projects over seven years, according to a person familiar with the deal.

The record-breaking contract through 2017 could be worth up to $250 million if certain conditions are met. One of the albums will be of never-before-released Jackson recordings that will come out in November, the person said.

Just Plain Sick: Woman Aims to be Fattest in America

I actually saw this lady while channel surfing on Tyra Banks show. Her and husband are really crazy when you hear them beating the drum for her to reach a 1000lb. by eating like pig.

via Telegraph
“I’d love to be 1000lb … it might be hard though, running after my daughter keeps my weight down,” Ms Simpson told the Daily Mail.

Ms Simpson, who needs a mobility scooter to go shopping, eats huge amounts of junk food each week and tries to move as little as possible so she doesn’t burn off as many calories.

“I do love cakes and sweet things, doughnuts are my favourite,” she said.

Ms Simpson said she also loved eating sushi and would often eat 70 big pieces in one go.

Her 49-year-old partner Philippe — who she met on a dating site for plus-size people — was encouraging her to reach her goal, she said.

“I think he’d like it if I was bigger … he’s a real belly man and completely supports me,” she said.

Roman Catholic Church Battles More Sexual Abuse Charges

Have we not been down this road before? The Catholic Church is full of sick priests who prey on innocent children and why has not this been on every news channel as the lead story?

In this photo released by Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano, Pope Benedict XVI, left, meets Archbishop Robert Zollitsch during an audience in his private library at the Vatican, Friday, March 12, 2010. Germany's top bishop has informed Pope Benedict XVI on cases of clerical sex abuse in the pontiff's native Germany and said the pope encouraged him to pursue the truth and assist the victims. Zollitsch said the pope was greatly dismayed and deeply moved as he was being briefed on the scandal during Friday's meeting at the Vatican. (AP Photo/Osservatore Romano)

DUBLIN – It often starts as a voice in the wilderness, but can swell into an entire nation’s demand for truth. From Ireland to Germany, Europe’s many victims of child abuse in the Roman Catholic church are finally breaking social taboos and confronting the clergy to face its demons.

Ireland was the first in Europe to confront the church’s worldwide custom of shielding pedophile priests from the law and public scandal. Now that legacy of suppressed childhood horror is being confronted in other parts of the Continent — nowhere more poignantly than in Germany, the homeland of Pope Benedict XVI.

TEL AVIV (Reuters) – Hollywood producer Jon Landau said on Sunday he and director James Cameron were considering a sequel to 3D blockbuster “Avatar” among several new projects.

Obama seeks to kill ‘Bush’ Education Policies

via NY Times

The Obama administration on Saturday called for a broad overhaul of President George W. Bush’s No Child Left Behind law, proposing to reshape divisive provisions that encouraged instructors to teach to tests, narrowed the curriculum, and labeled one in three American schools as failing.

By announcing that he would send his education blueprint to Congress on Monday, President Obama returned to a campaign promise to repair the sprawling federal law, which affects each of the nation’s nearly 100,000 public schools. His plan strikes a careful balance, retaining some key features of the Bush-era law, including its requirement for annual reading and math tests, while proposing far-reaching changes.

Fugees video director lives real life ‘Precious’ arrested for fathering six children with his daughters

This dude is just plain sick and deserves to be shot, there is no rehab for this sicco. Also this story is especially poignant for all the people who criticized the movie ‘Precious’ early on saying it was a bad portrayal and not realistic.

via Daily News

An award-winning video director was unmasked Thursday as a brutal, bizarre serial breeder who repeatedly raped his daughters to create a “pure” bloodline.

Aswad Ayinde, who won an MTV award for directing The Fugees‘ “Killing Me Softly,” fathered six kids with his daughters from the mid-1980s to 2002 – and delivered the babies himself, New Jersey prosecutors said.
