Two Rutgers Students Charged For Secretly Making Sex Tape Of Another Student, Who Then Committed Suicide

Tyler Clementi, left, is thought to have committed suicide, days after he was secretly filmed and broadcast on the Internet. Mr. Clementi’s roommate, Dharun Ravi, center, and another classmate, Molly Wei, have been charged in the case.

Now I am not with just posting tragic story after tragic story but I am just amazed and the behavior of these two freshmen students who would do such a thing to a fellow student. Just seems like we have so much crazy stuff going on within our education system across the board.

EAST ORANGE, N.J. — Police didn’t have to look far to find the man they say sprayed gunfire at a crowded weekend party, killing a Seton Hall University student and wounding four other people.

They arrested 25-year-old Nicholas Welch on Monday night at his home, just a few doors away from the off-campus house where the shooting occurred early Saturday. A second man, 19-year-old Marcus Bascus, was still being sought.

Footage has been released showing a police officer pretending to arrest a teenage boy in the US for having sex with the officer’s 14-year-old stepdaughter.

The boy says he was terrified during the ordeal inside his San Jose home — and now wants the veteran motorcycle policeman to feel the same fear, local newspaper the Mercury News reports.

The parents of the 15-year-old boy said the officer showed up at their home in full uniform after he found out the teens were having sex.

A Florida mother who stood on the sidelines cheering on her daughter during a planned high school fight between the teen and another girl was arrested today for child abuse.

According to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, April Newcomb, 39, can be seen on multiple YouTube videos “encouraging” her daughter “to physically fight” with the other girl. The videos, one of which can be viewed below, were filmed by attendees of the fight, which occurred in a vacant field near Palmetto High School.

When questioned by a cop, Newcomb, pictured in the mug shot at right, claimed that she only attended the bout between the two 16-year-old combatants in order “to make sure nothing got out of hand.” She also wanted to look out for her daughter’s health since the teen had “sustained a skull fracture from a previous incident approximately two years ago.”

“Of course we were both wrong and I understand that,” Newcomb said, adding, “I understand where ya’ll are coming from”.

Facebook CEO Donates $100 million to Newark’s Troubled School System

Wow. What a way to steal the thunder from the soon to be released movie The Social Network, in which reviewers claim it paints him as a total asshole. I don’t care if he is trying to save his image giving $100 million to the very needy Newark school system is a great move when most of these dudes give their money to some unheard of foundation.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg will donate $100 million to help Newark public schools, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The Wall Street Journal writes,

Mr. Zuckerberg is setting up a foundation with $100 million of Facebook stock to be used to improve education in America, with the primary goal of helping Newark.The donation has the potential to be matched by another $100 million that Newark’s mayor, Cory Booker, has been working on raising from private foundations and others. […]

The $200 million that could be raised would amount to over 20% of Newark’s budget of $940 million.
