BREAKING: George Zimmerman Shot in the Face in Florida

Looks like karma has finally caught up to George Zimmerman. WFTV in Florida is reporting that he was just shot in the face during a road rage incident.

LAKE MARY, Fla. —

Channel 9 has learned that George Zimmerman was involved in a shooting incident Monday inSeminole County on Lake Mary Boulevard.

Authorities said Zimmerman was shot in the face during a confrontation with a driver. They said the injury appears to be minor.

Earlier this year, the Department of Justice said it would not pursue civil rights charges against Zimmerman in the 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford.

Zimmerman was acquitted in the killing in 2013.
