Judge rules ‘Vitamin Water’ to be Unhealthy

‘I took quarter water sold it in a bottles for two bucks,  and Coca Cola came and bought it for billions now what the fuck’ -50 Cent. Basically the judge has said that Vitamin Water is basically soda with out the fizz and bubbles. More information below:

A federal judge ruled this week that Vitaminwater will not, as its labels promise, keep you “healthy as a horse.” Nor will it bring about a “healthy state of physical or mental being”. Instead, Vitaminwater is really just a sugary snack food; non-carbonated fruit coke disguised as a sports drink. Because it’s composed mostly of sugar and not vitamin-laden water, judge John Gleeson held that Vitaminwater’s absurd marketing claims were likely to mislead consumers.

[pics] 50 Cent loses 50 lbs. for new movie ‘Things Fall Apart’

By now we have all seen these new pics of Curtis “50 Cent ” Jackson after losing a deathly amount of weight for his new movie ‘Things Fall Apart’.

Don’t know too much about the movie outside of him playing a cancer patient but he gets an ‘A’ for effort in my book. This guy is really serious about acting and I would say someone who is so determined will eventually do something great. Hit the jump for pic#2…

Marc Ecko Loses Ecko Brand, Company Sold to Pay Off Creditors

Source: Gawker/NY Post

Funny thing is I have seen many business shows where they have interviewed him on his brilliant business acumen. Anyway here is the story on his fall from grace in the business world:

In one way, Marc Ecko‘s a role model: He started with style and a dream and made it to the top of pop fashion. In a more accurate way, Marc Ecko is a walking “What Not to Do” guide.

The NYP reports todaythat Ecko’s finally lost control of his own brand. He was forced to sell off a controlling stake in Ecko, middle America’s most familiar hip-pop fashion line in order to raise cash to pay off creditors. It’ll help the feeble brand hobble on, but it won’t behis.

This really makes his decision to build himselfa 280,000 square foot office with an in-house basketball court and spend 750k on a souvenir baseball and live in a huge Italian villa-style Jersey mansion appear a bit financially imprudent. But none of that was as bad as his decision to take what was once an actual cool, crediblehip hop clothing brand (I remember when it was “ECHO” with an “H,” yo), and turn it into something that took up entire Kids’ sections in middle American malls.

Boy do I smell a lawsuit.

Picture 30HARTFORD, Conn. — An employee of rapper 50 Cent has been accused of getting into a fight after a sex-related dispute at the hip-hop star’s mansion and is facing assault charges.

Dwayne McKenzie works for the rapper’s company G-Unit and lives on the sprawling property, which used to be owned by boxer Mike Tyson. Court documents obtained by the Hartford Courant newspaper allege McKenzie requested oral sex from a woman during an Aug. 16 gathering at the 50,000-square-foot mansion in the Hartford metropolitan area suburb Farmington.

A friend of the woman took offense, and a fight ensued, police said.

Police Lt. William M. Tyler said 50 Cent wasn’t at the home, which has 19 bedrooms and 37 bathrooms and boasts a gym, billiards rooms, racquetball courts and a disco with stripper poles.

When the woman and her friend decided to leave the mansion, witnesses said, another woman, Michelle Krzykowski, ran after them and grabbed the friend, and McKenzie told her she was attacking the wrong person, according to a warrant for McKenzie’s arrest.

Krzykowski hit the woman with a hard object, leaving a large gash in her head, police said. Witnesses told police McKenzie pinned the woman to the ground while Krzykowski hit her.

McKenzie claims the accusation that he urged Krzykowski to attack the woman “is totally false,” said his lawyer, Gerald Klein, who has represented him before.Picture 29

“He’s not a celebrity, but he works for one,” Klein said. “So I guess he can be targeted by people looking to make hay.”

McKenzie, 28, was blasted in the eyes with pepper spray during the fight, Klein said. He faces several charges stemming from the incident and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Hartford Superior Court, but his lawyer is expected to ask for the case to be continued until Sept. 1.

Krzykowski, of New Britain, also faces assault charges. She’s due in court Sept. 1. No published telephone number for her could be found.

50 Cent bought the mansion for $4.1 million. He said it had “a ‘Miami Vice’ feel,” and he spent $6 million on renovations and repairs.

But the rapper, who’s from New York City, said he was growing tired of the two-hour commute and put the home up for sale for $18.5 million before dropping the price to $10.9 million this summer.

McKenzie and Krzykowski are free on bond.

How To Grill Like the Boss Rick Ross

When will somebody tell Ross about heart disease?

The Food
I love steaks. I love blood. A regular grill man cooks wienies. A boss is gonna have that spiraled Italian sausage. But if we’re going to put hot dogs on there, we’re going with the ones with cheese in the middle. I love cheese. One of my favorite specials: Put a little butter, a tilapia fillet, broccoli, and a slice of cheese in some aluminum foil. Wrap it and throw it on the grill.

The Setting
My house has a nice setup outside—if you’ve been to the Delano hotel or the Mandarin or the Raleigh in Miami, my yard’s reminiscent of that—a real bungalow vibe. But every neighborhood also has a certain public park—CB Smith Park in my area—where there’s something about the flavor coming off the grills. They’ve got the burgers to put Burger King out of business.

The Gear
You gotta have the dinosaur claws, the cleavers. That’s how you pat that beef. And in summertime? In Mi-yay-yo you
