Having previously only showcased them as eye candy within their iD Design Studios, Nike has finally decided to release a limited run of their All Grey Air Force 1 MX. The sneakers, done up in a Grey Lux colorway, will only see a production run of 105 pairs, with 35 being sold to the public. Three locations will be splitting up the release later this month, including the Nike iD Studio in London, 21 Mercer Street (NYC), and AF1 Republic in Tokyo. Stay tuned for further details.

Jay-Z‘s new Rocawear sneaker, the R+, has had its images leaked online as the hip-hop mogul prepares to release them to retail stores next month.
Jay’s new kicks will hit retail outlets this June and have been compared to Kanye’s sneaker design.
The R+ sneaker from Shawn and Rocawear is set to debut in June and if you can’t tell after looking at the picture, it resembles various other sneakers out there. Don’t you agree? I’m seeing a Supra with a Yeezy, throw Nike in there somewhere and then you have the R+. Hit the jump to see for yourself. (ImFlashy)
The online community has shared mixed reactions to the shoes.
Yes this girl has definitely come along way from the Luda video with Chris Brown and here is the ad for the Louie Vuitton Don’s new sneakers that are probably twice as much as the recently released Air Yeezy‘s. Gotta admit that having two different shoes from the biggest brands in the world is truly “Amazing”. via Icedotcom
These remind me of the Air Yeezy’s something awful, and I would actually throw a pair of these on before I chuck up two and change to the “Gay Fish.” Well, on second-thought…
Steering away from his patented Hi-Strap sneakers, Ato Matsumoto gives us a look into another model from his Japanese brand. This latest Hiker Sneaker takes hints from outdoors footwear along with some influence from the traditional athletic sneaker. Mixing it up with premium leather and patent, this new joint comes in a white/black and reverse black/white colorway. Now available via ZOZOTOWN.

Yesterday we posted the full length version of a new video promoting the Nike Zoom Kobe IV coming to NikeiD. Besides the latest signature shoe for Kobe Bryant were a handful of great kicks, but none quite as attention getting DJ AM’s Nike Air Yeezys. We couldn’t help but take a few screen grabs from the high res video to show all of you multiple angles of the Yeezys.
One thing that caught our eye is that down the back of the heel tab is “Y-E-E-Z-Y”. Will this be on the pairs that hit retail in March or just for VIP’s like DJ AM? I guess we will have to wait and see. For the mean time, check out more angles DJ AM’s Air Yeezys after the break.

These days having your own sneaker is commonplace in the world of Hip Hop. It seems Nike has a monopoly on this thus all other sneaker brands are left behind when it comes to exclusivity. Nike we are ready for our SKM signature dunks so just holler when you guys are ready!!

This weekend was the release of the long anticipated ?uestlove Nike Air Force Ones. The night before the actual release plenty of shoe fiends camped overnight at the location to guarantee themselves a pair, and of course to be the first ones to flaunt them off to their buddies.
Celebrity friend Bun B from UGK even showed up to support and took the time out to mingle with the dedicated shoe heads. ?uestlove was very generous in making sure his supporters were very comfortable, throughout the day he had brought them 17 boxes of pizza as well as bottled water and even signed autographs and took pictures.
?uestlove was actually the first person to technically purchase his show. The first 5 customers in line got their pair free courtesy of the man himself.

Behind all the headlines regarding his musical talent and fashionista attributes, lies an extraordinarily creative individual serving as a constant reminder to me and so many others, that dedication, hard work, and hands down following your dream pays big dividends. Since Kanye West burst onto the Hip-Hop scene with the release of The College Dropout in 2004, he has been a mainstay in the industry providing hits for himself all while playing the role of producer on some of the hottest tracks in recent memory.
Expressing his artistic talents further, Mr.West set out to work on what would eventually become his signature sneaker. Combining details from his love for designer shoes, West chose a high top platform with features of various Air Jordan models including the AJIII and AJV while incorporating a bulkier tongue, fashionable patent leather mid-foot strap along with high quality textiles. To top off the design, a glow in the dark sole was added, complementing the 2008 Glow in the Dark Tour. With the help of Nike’s Innovative Kitchen over an extensive several months, all of West’s visions molded into something that would embody the artist in every way. Garnering attention since the sneakers first appearance at the 2008 Grammy Awards, there have been various rumors regarding release but as of now will remain exclusive to Kanye West in his size 12, with a release looking very dim. For further information regarding the entire design process, Sole Collector is doing a feature here.
