Bernie Mac And Isaac Hayes In Soul Men We’ve got an official, high-res version of that picture from Soul Men that’s been making the rounds. It’s a shot from the set, with Bernie Mac, Isaac Hayes, and Sam Jackson hanging out together taking a break. It’s hard to believe that now two out of those three people are gone. Bernie and Isaac look like they’re the picture of health, who could have imagined that they’d both be so randomly struck down by illness only a short time later.

There’s still no word on whether the release date of Soul Men will remain as is. Only The Weinstein Company can make that call. Right now they may simply be waiting for things to settle down, see how people will feel when it gets closer to the film’s release. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything, for now Soul Men is still slated for release on November 14th.

“My little nephew came to me and he said, ‘Uncle, what’s the difference between a hypothetical question and a realistic question?'” Mac said. “I said, I don’t know, but I said, ‘Go upstairs and ask your mother if she’d make love to the mailman for $50,000.'”
