This is fire. Can’t wait to see the rest of this.

We head to Los Angeles where Homeboy Industries has started a program to help former gang members remove their visible tattoos, a step towards helping them change the direction of their lives.
This ain’t just for LA this is for black people worldwide.
Skipp Townsend ( http://www.2ndcall.org ) visits Washington D.C. for the Justice Or Else! Million Man March 20th Anniversary and the message he took back to the streets of South Los Angeles was that “Black-on-Black” violence can be cured by putting down the guns and stop the hating on your own brothers.
I’m all for rap artists jumping into different genres if it sounds dope. This right here, is clear reaching on the part of Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg. The white chick with the nice little apple booty is named Ljupka Stević and I seriously doubt she had anything to with this collab. First off the song is listed as Snoop Dogg feat. Ljupka Stević but in reality he doesn’t appear until about half way through and the video was uploaded on her Youtube page. Maybe Snoop was really feeling the song (heavy sarcasm) or did a favor for her label. Who knows. But Snoop is rich enough to turn down some of these songs that just further tarnish the end of his career.
Despite the Internet community’s contemptuous efforts to exploit and publicize Snoop’s affairs with his neighborhood, he and Bigg Flossy B meet up in person to resolve their issues, demonstrating a commendable example of peaceful conflict resolution.
Baltimore Bloods & Pirus spoke with WBAL TV last night and clarified that local gangs did not call a truce to cause any harm to police, contrary to what the BPD has allowed to be promoted by the media. They acknowledge that although some of them are taking a non-violent stance, others within their respective gangs may not, which is a choice they do not condone, but are understanding of. The BPD and the media’s vilification of this truce and the parties involved is reminiscent of what constantly went on during the Black Panther era, and pretty much any other time Black People came together for a cause that threatened the status quo.
Word is starting to spread like wildfire across social media that the Nation of Islam has had a hand in forging a truce between long-time rival gangs the Bloods and the Crips in Baltimore. According to a recent report by CounterCurrentNews:
Reports among members indicate that members of the Nation of Islam organization brokered the truce, much the same as happened in Los Angeles two decades ago.
“I can say with honesty those brothers demonstrated they can be united for a common good,” Carlos Muhammad, a minister at Nation of Islam’s Mosque No. 6 said.
“At the rally, they made the call that they must be united on that day. It should be commended,” he continued.
“We can unite and stop killing one another, and the Bloods and the Crips can help rebuild their community,” Muhammad said in an interview with theThe Daily Beast.
A community organizer, DeRay McKesson, confirmed the ceasefire between the groups.
“The fight against police brutality has united people in many ways that we have not seen regularly, and that’s really powerful,” McKesson said.
“The reality is, police have been terrorizing black people as far back as we can remember. It will take all of us coming together to change a corrupt system,” he added.
Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake acknowledged the peace-brokering efforts of the Nation of Islam, singling them out specifically for helping to stop the violence in the community.
This is not the only information that has surfaced, however. An e-mail from the Baltimore Police Department that seems to be a response to this truce states that the alliance is a ‘credible threat’ to law enforcement agencies and they are told to take necessary precautions. The e-mail also states that the Black Guerilla Family has joined up with the Bloods & Crips, and various posts on social media claim GD’s are standing in solidarity as well. It appears these groups are not a threat when they are a divided and warring against each other, just when they unite and decide to take a stand against police brutality.
Message to the streets. …. Real Growth and Development..
K. Dot goes in over Notorious B.I.G classic instrumentals at Big Boy;s new show on REAL 92.3.
Being a father I can understand him having to take these drastic measures to save this young black boy from becoming another Bobby Shmurda. No judgement from me.

This has got to be the worst week for New Englad Patriot Aaron Hernadez. After being arrested for 1st Degree Murder, TMZ has unearthed this pics of him allegedly throwing up Blood gang signs. Things are not looking good so far for this guy in the least:
TMZ has obtained a photo of Aaron Hernandez throwing up gang signs often associated with the Bristol Bloods street gang in Connecticut … while dressed head-to-toe in red clothing.
The photo was taken approximately 6 years ago, when Aaron was 17-years-old … and a senior at Bristol Central High.
Aaron was long-rumored to be a member of the gang … and now, with this photo — combined with the “blood” tattoo spotted on his hand during his arraignment — the doubt has seemingly been erased.
23-year-old Hernandez has been charged with the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. He’s due back in court later today.

Forget stereotypical gang colors and traditions. Today’s street gangs are evolving into jumbled hybrids where even Bloods sometimes wear blue and Crips sport red.
But they’re still dangerous, experts say. And more common.
This week the FBI reported that gangs were moving into rural and suburban areas, and that they committed as much as 80 percent of the crime in many communities.
Midwestern gangs also are spreading and tend to have strange names, habits and mixes of criminals and wannabes, experts said at this week’s Kansas Gang Investigators Association conference, which concluded Friday in Olathe.
“They’re comical, and they do stupid stuff,” gang expert David Starbuck told investigators. “Does that make them less of a threat? No. They want to be the Al Capone of Garden City.”
He added, “Will these guys shoot you in a minute? Hell yes.”
Starbuck led the Kansas City police gang unit until he retired in 2001, and now he teaches about gangs at conferences nationwide. He is president of the Missouri chapter of the Midwest Gang Investigators Association.
Gang traditions have faded so much that white supremacists work with black gangsters, and a Vietnamese group goes by the name of a Central American gang, Starbuck told officers.
The gang culture swirls and spreads through rap music, movies and clothing styles, he said. Gangs recruit on the Internet, and members are of every color, come from every social class and vary in each city. Continue reading
