Charlie Murphy, Eddie’s older brother, and a very successful and popular stand-up comedian in his own right … TMZ has learned.
According to Charlie’s manager, he died from leukemia Wednesday morning in a NYC hospital. He’d been going undergoing chemotherapy.
Charlie famously co-starred on “Chappelle’s Show” in some of Dave’s most memorable skits … including the nights Charlie partied with Rick James and Prince.
Outside of playing his music, I can find no other way to honor Prince, then probably one of the funniest sketches in comedy history. Take it from her Charlie…and RIP to the icon Prince.

I think we all collectively miss this dude.
What is it in the comedian’s psyche that always seem to pop up when they are at the top of their game. I have spoken with a up and coming comedian and he told me that it takes 10 years to get good and 15 to be great. Katt says in this clip he has been doing standup for 18 years and he has had enough.
He definitely filled the void left by Dave Chapelle and to hear him talk of retirement is shocking and sad. Another great one bites the dust.

SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — A highway patrolman who was photographed in a handmade Ku Klux Klan costume while on duty the day before the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday has been suspended without pay, authorities said.
A fellow trooper who transmitted the cell-phone photo of white-masked lawman has been demoted.
Franklin and Trooper Eric Wlodarsky told an investigator that the picture was taken as a joke and was modeled on a television skit by comedian Dave Chappelle.
