Now all the illegal sh*t this cat has done in this country has been swept quietly under the rug and finally somebody steps up to the plate to serve this slime ball some justice. I am waiting for the ball to drop and for him to surrender and face these charges. Can’t see it happening but it is okay to dream sometimes. Hit the jump for a video report.

[video] 9/11 Families Make Commercial Condemning ‘Ground Zero’ Mosque called ‘We Remember’

I have all types of problems with this controversy of a so-called Ground Zero mosque. Well I ha actually have problems with the story of the World Trade Center attacks, so this just seems to be another diversionary tactic to the many questions never answered about 9/11 in the first place. That is a big can of worms I don’t have time to go into right now but this commercial is particularly disturbing due to the fact these people are being manipulated and used by certain groups who want the myth of 9/11 to continue.

The board members of Keep America Safe, Liz Cheney, Bill Kristol and Debra Burlingame announce the release of “We Remember,” an ad featuring first responders and family members of the victims of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 who are speaking out in opposition to the proposed Ground Zero Mosque. We believe their voices should be heard throughout our country and we encourage you to pass their message along.

[video] Fox News Host says ‘Bush and Cheney’ are criminals and should have been indicted

Have we forgotten that Bush and Cheney have literally gotten away with murder? In addition to them basically destroying civil rights they also took us into a permanent war that is still killing our men and women each day.

This guy is just saying what many said years ago but their crimes obviously have been swept under the rug by both Dems and Republicans.

via Huff Post

What President Bush did with the suspension of habeas corpus, with the whole concept of Guantánamo Bay, with the whole idea that he could avoid and evade federal laws, treaties, federal judges and the constitution was blatantly unconstitutional — and in some cases criminal,” Napolitano said. “They should have been indicted.

CIA Head Says Cheney Almost Wishing US Be Attacked

Leon-panetta

via WHIOTV

WASHINGTON — CIA Director Leon Panetta says former Vice President Dick Cheney’s criticism of the Obama administration’s approach to terrorism almost suggests “he’s wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point.” Panetta told The New Yorker for an article in its June 22 issue that Cheney “smells some blood in the water” on the issue of national security.

Cheney has said in several interviews that he thinks Obama is making the U.S. less safe. He has been critical of Obama for ordering the closure of the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, halting enhanced interrogations of suspected terrorists and reversing other Bush administration initiatives he says helped to prevent attacks on the U.S.
Last month the former vice president offered a withering critique of Obama’s policies and a defense of the Bush administration on the same day that Obama made a major speech about national security. Panetta said of Cheney’s remarks: “It’s almost, a little bit, gallows politics. When you read behind it, it’s almost as if he’s wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point. I think that’s dangerous politics.” Continue reading

Incredible New Poll: 90% Want Bush Crimes Investigation

via AlterNet

Air America conducted a poll that asked a question raised by Time Magazine’s Joe Klein: “Should Obama pardon George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, and Dick Cheney?” The idea: a pardon would brand them for crimes without the agony of a trial. bush_wanted

Air American’s aren’t buying the Klein solution. They want the whole lot thrown in jail. No trial necessary! A whopping 90% of our 9000 respondents want to see Bush and Company pay for their crimes with either hard time in the pokey or hard time in the pokey after enhanced interrogation techniques. (Shocking!)

In an interview last year with Philadelphia Daily News reporter Will Bunch, Barack Obama said something that seemed to signal the presidential hopeful might prosecute George W. Bush and his staff for crimes committed during the eight-year death march also known as the 43rd presidency of the United States of America.
It was one of the many moments that whipped up my own private Obama fervor. But did he say what I thought he said? Not really.

“I would want to find out directly from my attorney general–having pursued, having looked at what’s out there right now–are there possibilities of genuine crimes as opposed to really bad policies.”

That’s as strong as it got. There was never any statement of positive intent regarding the prosecution of George W. Bush. Obama never ventured beyond the milquetoast, “We’ll look into it.” This is the equivalent of a disappointed soon-to-be ex-lover eliciting a “maybe” from a wholly disinterested wished for-former one. It’s meaningless.

Last go around we had Bushisms, those zany journeys into the what-the-f-isms of linguistic barbarism. This time around we learn another language lesson among many to come in what seems to be an emerging mode of communication in the Obama camp. Call it Obama-speak. The defining characteristic is an NPR-like far-sightedness, and long form intelligence. Our president has the uncanny ability to perform advanced political calculus on the fly and express the results of those many wondrous equations in simple, if somewhat involved, communications. [Op-Ed] Examining the Fantasy of 24’s Jack Bauer: ‘Clip the Electrodes to His Balls and Turn on the Juice’

via AlterNet

Credit where credit is due. The TV show “24” is probably the most significant piece of political drama in the last decade. jackbauer-tm

On one hand, it is very likely that Barack Obama got elected because America had already had a serious black presidential candidate (one season) and two black presidents (one season each). And he was always the most decent guy in the room. Often, the only decent guy in the room. Just like Obama.

On the other hand, there’s torture.

* Terrorists are going to nuke Los Angeles in three hours.

* Agent Jack Bauer has a suspect who knows where the bomb is.

* If Jack Bauer tortures the suspect, he can force him to say where it is, get there in 2 hours and 59 minutes, stop the bomb, and save 10 million people. Continue reading

Cheney Goes Nuclear and Warns of Impending Attack

cheney-bastard

via AlterNet

Former Vice President Dick Cheney was a national disgrace and an embarrassment to himself while in office, but he’s not quite done engaging in some of the cheapest, most offensive, least honest demagoguery imaginable.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney warned that there is a “high probability” that terrorists will attempt a catastrophic nuclear or biological attack in coming years, and said he fears the Obama administration’s policies will make it more likely the attempt will succeed.

In an interview Tuesday with Politico, Cheney unyieldingly defended the Bush administration’s support for the Guantanamo Bay prison and coercive interrogation of terrorism suspects.

And he asserted that President Obama will either backtrack on his stated intentions to end those policies or put the county at risk in ways more severe than most Americans — and, he charged, many members of Obama’s own team — understand.

“When we get people who are more concerned about reading the rights to an Al Qaeda terrorist than they are with protecting the United States against people who are absolutely committed to do anything they can to kill Americans, then I worry,” Cheney said.

Protecting the country’s security is “a tough, mean, dirty, nasty business,” he said. “These are evil people. And we’re not going to win this fight by turning the other cheek.” Continue reading

Cheney Takes Shots at Biden, Says Bush Needs No Permission to go Nuclear

via Fox News

Vice President Cheney mocked Vice President-elect Joe Biden’s grasp of the Constitution, defended former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and said President Bush “doesn’t have to check with anybody” before launching a nuclear attack.dcheney-large1

In a blunt, unapologetic interview on “FOX News Sunday,” Cheney fired back at Biden for declaring in October that “Vice President Cheney has been the most dangerous vice president we’ve had probably in American history.”

“He also said that all the powers and responsibilities of the executive branch are laid out in Article I of the Constitution,” Cheney said in a interview that was conducted on Friday. “Well, they’re not. Article I of the Constitution is the one on the legislative branch.”

“Joe’s been chairman of the Judiciary Committee, a member of the Judiciary Committee in the Senate for 36 years, teaches constitutional law back in Delaware, and can’t keep straight which article of the Constitution provides for the legislature and which provides for the executive. So I think I’d write that off as campaign rhetoric. I don’t take it seriously.” Continue reading

Cheney Admits Central Role in Torture For the First Time

dcheney-large

These dudes are really enjoying their exit strategy, giving Americans the proverbial ‘middle-finger’ on their way out because they know damn well nothing will be done to bring them to justice. Now what?

via LA Times

Reporting from Washington — Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday that he was directly involved in approving severe interrogation methods used by the CIA, and that the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, should remain open indefinitely.

Cheney’s remarks on Guantanamo appear to put him at odds with President Bush, who has expressed a desire to close the prison, although the decision is expected to be left to the incoming administration of President-elect Barack Obama. Continue reading

Marine Almost Killed By Taliban Fighter (Pics)

[Goran Tomasevic]

We are still at war and these pics give a great snapshot of just how dangerous and in harm’s way are our soldiers who have been made to fight an unjust war by the most corrupt adminstration in history.
I truly wonder what draft dodger George H.W Bush and Dick Cheney would do if faced with the same day to day danger. The blood on their hands gets deeper everyday.

Indict this animal and bring home the troops!

Oliver Stone’s Biopic ‘W’, Cheney Role Still Not Cast..(Pics)

JOSH BROLIN AS GEORGE W. BUSH PHOTOGRAPH BY PLATON

Controversial filmaker Oliver Stone is tackling probably the worst president in the history of mankind in a biopic called ‘W’, detailing the presidency of George H.W Bush. Noted actor Josh Brolin pictured above has snagged the role Bush with the role of Dick(head) Cheney still not cast. Though a single frame has not been filmed yet, they are pushng for a October release during the presidential campaign(can’t be good for senior citizen McCain). More details below:

”Bush may turn out to be the worst president in history,” he declares as he peeks into room after room. ”I think history is going to be very tough on him. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a great story. It’s almost Capra-esque, the story of a guy who had very limited talents in life, except for the ability to sell himself.

The fact that he had to overcome the shadow of his father and the weight of his family name — you have to admire his tenacity. There’s almost an Andy Griffith quality to him, from A Face in the Crowd. If Fitzgerald were alive today, he might be writing about him. He’s sort of a reverse Gatsby.”
