[video] Omega Psi Phi starts investigation of disgusting viral ‘booty’ video

I don’t know what the f*ck is going on here at this meeting of Omega Psi Phi but there is definitely something wrong and it needs to be addressed asap. Things like this gives a lot of fuel and credence to the ‘homosexual agenda ‘theory that is talked about in many black circles.

via Philadelphia Tribune

About 11 p.m. Saturday, Antonio F. Knox Sr., the Grand Basileus for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., said he began receiving phone calls and text messages about a video on social media that featured members of the organization.

The less-than-two-minute video, which has received more than 6 million views on Facebook and YouTube, shows a number of members of the fraternity hopping with their pants down — low enough to expose their buttocks.

[video] The Illegal Big Cats of Instagram

Rich Arabic douche bags using wild animals as a status symbol. America is just as guilty. Asians eating all types of exotic animals not meant human consumption. The whole exotic animal trade is filled with a bunch selfish blood sucking devils across this planet.

Buying illegal wild animals in Kuwait is, as one local puts it, “as easy as acquiring a cupcake.” Pets have long been used as status symbols the world over, but citizens of the Gulf take the prize when it comes to keeping the most exotic, controversial species—most commonly, “big cat” cubs.

Experts: Lying on Facebook Makes You A Delusional Liar

Screen Shot 2014-12-29 at 1.49.37 PM

People lie on Facebook? In other news it is being widely reported that water is wet.

via The Telegraph

Embellishing the truth to impress friends on sites like Facebook may implant false memories, psychologists have warned.

A fifth of young people admit their online profile bears little resemblance to reality, and that their recollection of past events has been distorted by their own fabrications.

Young adults, aged between 18 and 24, say they frequently lie about their relationships, promotions at work and holidays.

Previous research has suggested that social networks are damaging to autobiographical memory.

Psychologist Dr Richard Sherry, a founding member of the Society for Neuropsychoanalysis, said, warned that it could also lead to feelings of shame and worthlessness.

[video] Father Whoops On His 13-Year-Old Daughter for Dressing Sexy, Missing for 3 Days?

The discipline and beating of misbehaving children on video and being posted to Youtube and Facebook is a recent phenomenon that doesn’t seem to be slowing down one bit. The unverified story is that young lady scantily dressed in this video has been been missing for three days and presumed dead by her father.

Being a parent I can understand the pure horror of what this father was going through but this beating may in the end may cause more damage than good. I am not saying that to give his child a good ole fashioned whipping is wrong, the fact it was posted on the internet for the world to see is where I have my serious reservations.

Pretty much my whole feed is GUILTY. Lol.

I will post a few below and you can read the rest of at BUZZFEED.

Check out their timeline. If someone only uses their status updates to tell you what a miserable day they’re having, to complain about their life, or use their feed as a way to get people to feel sorry for them, then it’s time to hit the unfriend button.

6. Your super political and religious friend(s).

If there’s one thing that people should learn about Facebook, it’s that you won’t convert someone to your side by posting multiple links and using ALL CAPS in the comments. But overly eager political and religious people just love to do this, and if you say anything about it to them, they’ll say you’re part of the problem. To save your feed from being clogged up with op-ed pieces, just say goodbye to this friend.

Million Dollar Drug Gang ‘Blocc Boyz’ Busted Through Youtube, Facebook and Instagram

Once again the addiction of social media has surfaced and brought down a multi-million dollar drug gang who could not stop posting their exploits on Facebook and Instagram. You would think even drug dealers would smarten up and keep their activities quiet for fear of the authorities easily putting together the pieces but in this day and age that is not the case. Daily News has the scoop below:

The screening process begins with scanning software that monitors chats for words or phrases that signal something might be amiss, such as an exchange of personal information or vulgar language.

[video] Is Anonymous Starting a Cyber War and Targeting Facebook?

Seems to be some debate on Youtube if this is credible. I guess only time will tell and oddly this attck is supposedly in resonse to the taking down of Mega Upload. The transcript is after the jump.

via BI

In the wake of the federal takedown of Megaupload, hacker collective Anonymous has been on a retaliatory spree.
Yesterday, they managed to divert all traffic away from CBS.com, following their takedowns of government sites and Universal Music Group last week.
And according to a video posted this morning on a seemingly Anonymous-affiliated YouTube account, Facebook is their next target. The video encourages people to download a linked program that they can use to attack Facebook.
This isn’t the first time they’ve threatened Facebook, but if this video’s authentic, it means the threat could be acted upon soon. Other sites they’ve mentioned as targets in the past include the United Nations, Xbox Live, U.S. Bank, Twitter, and YouTube.
UPDATE 4:45 p.m. – The Anonymous-affiliated Twitter account @anonops has tweeted that they, at least, will not attack Facebook. (via PCMag)

Facebook admits to still TRACKING users after they Logout

Ooops!! I really think that the majority of Facebook users do not care about the privacy concerns at this point.

via Daily Mail

In its latest privacy blunder, the social networking site was forced to confirm that it has been constantly tracking its 750million users, even when they are using other sites.
The social networking giant says the huge privacy breach was simply a mistake – that software automatically downloaded to users’ computers when they logged in to Facebook ‘inadvertently’ sent information to the company, whether or not they were logged in at the time.

Facebook set to debut Skype Video Calls, New Design

Facebook Rules B*tches.

via Buzzfeed

Mark Zuckerberg announced a new Facebook redesign, without revealing any major details. The focus of the press conference was video calling, through Skype; though, unlike Skype, Facebook users will not require a specific program to utilize the technology, only a plug-in, which they can download whenever someone requests chatting with them:

Writer Nicholas Carr says ‘internet information overload is making us dumb’

I totally believe he has some valid points. Having seen how my younger teenage family members are literally addicted to Facebook and have no aspirations outside of that is a telling story. The fact that kids self esteem are directly related to how many people like their status or photos is something that is going to have repercussions in their adult lives.

via Breitbart

“We take in so much information so quickly that we are in a constant state of cognitive overload,” Carr argued.

“Multitasking erodes cognitive control. We lose our ability to say that this is important, this is unimportant. All we want is new information.”

In contrast, when readers open a printed book, “there’s nothing else going on except words on a page, no distractions. It helps train us to be deep thinkers.”

Along the top are four Facebook buttons: People, Events, Notifications, and Places. The People button shows you the feeds of your closest friends as determined by Facebook’s Open Graph API. It’s like a friends and family circle on a mobile calling plan, except it shows you the feeds of your “top” friends, which you can swipe through. The phone also ingests all the details it can about your Facebook friends into the local address book so you have one unified social address book.

Why do people use such a public forum as facebook to speak their private thoughts? Whether you agree or disagree with his stance you should not be on Facebook saying this as such and not expect a serious blow back from the public.

NYC teachers busted for flirting with students on Facebook

First rule is if you are a teacher, do not flirt or sleep with your students, second rule do not flirt or sleep with your students and then post it on Facebook. You will be fired. Seems simple enough but trust me the trend of teacher-student relationships do not seem to be going anywhere. Check out the recently caught teachers who crossed the line with students on the The Social Network aka Facebook.

via NY Post

At least three educators from city public high schools have been fired in the past six months for having inappropriate dealings with students on Facebook — one of which culminated in a sexual relationship, The Post has learned.

One of the booted employees is former Bronx teacher Chadwin Reynolds, who “friended” about a half-dozen female students and wrote creepy comments like, “This is sexy,” under some of their Facebook photos, schools investigators found.

Reynolds, a former Fordham HS for the Arts teacher, allegedly even tried to get one teen to go out with him by getting her phone number and sending her flowers, candy and a teddy bear.

Another ex-DOE employee — Laurie Hirsch, 30, a former paraprofessional at Bryant HS in Long Island City, Queens — was canned in May for her steamy Facebook shenanigans involving a student.

She had posted a photo of her kissing an 18-year-old male former student on the lips, which sparked an investigation.
