[pics] Check out 50 Cent’s ‘Sleek Audio’ headphones

Since headphones are selling and the music isn’t, 50 Cent follows Dr. Dre’s brilliant business move by getting involved with Sleek Audio to produce his own line of high end headphones.

Sleek — which tickled our ears quite pleasantly with last year’s SA1 — is apparently gearing up to unveil something special here at CES. Mum’s the word on what, exactly, but judging by the image above, we’re assuming it’ll be a pair of high-end wireless (Kleer?) headphones with the backing of 50 Cent.

[pics] 50 Cent loses 50 lbs. for new movie ‘Things Fall Apart’

By now we have all seen these new pics of Curtis “50 Cent ” Jackson after losing a deathly amount of weight for his new movie ‘Things Fall Apart’.

Don’t know too much about the movie outside of him playing a cancer patient but he gets an ‘A’ for effort in my book. This guy is really serious about acting and I would say someone who is so determined will eventually do something great. Hit the jump for pic#2…

Picture 30HARTFORD, Conn. — An employee of rapper 50 Cent has been accused of getting into a fight after a sex-related dispute at the hip-hop star’s mansion and is facing assault charges.

Dwayne McKenzie works for the rapper’s company G-Unit and lives on the sprawling property, which used to be owned by boxer Mike Tyson. Court documents obtained by the Hartford Courant newspaper allege McKenzie requested oral sex from a woman during an Aug. 16 gathering at the 50,000-square-foot mansion in the Hartford metropolitan area suburb Farmington.

A friend of the woman took offense, and a fight ensued, police said.

Police Lt. William M. Tyler said 50 Cent wasn’t at the home, which has 19 bedrooms and 37 bathrooms and boasts a gym, billiards rooms, racquetball courts and a disco with stripper poles.

When the woman and her friend decided to leave the mansion, witnesses said, another woman, Michelle Krzykowski, ran after them and grabbed the friend, and McKenzie told her she was attacking the wrong person, according to a warrant for McKenzie’s arrest.

Krzykowski hit the woman with a hard object, leaving a large gash in her head, police said. Witnesses told police McKenzie pinned the woman to the ground while Krzykowski hit her.

McKenzie claims the accusation that he urged Krzykowski to attack the woman “is totally false,” said his lawyer, Gerald Klein, who has represented him before.Picture 29

“He’s not a celebrity, but he works for one,” Klein said. “So I guess he can be targeted by people looking to make hay.”

McKenzie, 28, was blasted in the eyes with pepper spray during the fight, Klein said. He faces several charges stemming from the incident and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Hartford Superior Court, but his lawyer is expected to ask for the case to be continued until Sept. 1.

Krzykowski, of New Britain, also faces assault charges. She’s due in court Sept. 1. No published telephone number for her could be found.

50 Cent bought the mansion for $4.1 million. He said it had “a ‘Miami Vice’ feel,” and he spent $6 million on renovations and repairs.

But the rapper, who’s from New York City, said he was growing tired of the two-hour commute and put the home up for sale for $18.5 million before dropping the price to $10.9 million this summer.

McKenzie and Krzykowski are free on bond.

HBO’s Entourage will be a little bit crowded when the new season kicks off in July. Rapper 50 Cent will reportedly join the cast of the series that revolves around Vincent Chase, a young A-list movie star, and his childhood friends from Bayside, Queens, New York City, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood, California. According to The Insider, the infamous singer has been spotted filming scenes for the show on Friday, joining cast members Jerry Ferrara, Adrian Grenier and series creator Doug Ellin on the set.

This is not the first time a rapper has graced the show. Entourage has easily carved a niche in the rap community by booking rappers like Kanye West, T.I. and Snoop Dogg. Moreover, both Saigon and Bow Wow have also recurrently appeared on the show.

“50 looked like he was enjoying his time as he drove on the streets of Los Angeles in a white convertible Rolls Royce,” The Insider reported, adding that the rapper’s episode is set to air in August.

As of this moment, however, 50 Cent’s participation on Entourage is not yet known.

This is the latest casting news for Entourage‘s sixth season. Gary Cole has been confirmed to be joining the cast as a regular for the new season while Lil’ Wayne is expected to appear in an episode as himself. Also guest starring are Tom Brady, Autumn Reeser, and Swarnendra Verma. Continue reading

50 Cent to Play Informant in New Movie

via SOHH

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson‘s role in the upcoming film Caught in the Crossfire has been revealed online with the rapper starring as a police informant.50cent

The name of the character the G-Unit leader plays has been kept under wraps, but Fif has spoken on his reaction to filming in Michigan.

The movie has a police theme, with officers searching out crooked cops with the help of a police informant, played by 50 Cent. The movie’s directors and crew are keeping a lot of their work under wraps. But the stars say they are enjoying their time in Grand Rapids. “It’s quiet enough for me to enjoy myself,” 50 said. “It’s laid back out here. It’s not so much going on that I’m uncomfortable being out and about.” (WZZM News)

Fif’s latest film project will reportedly focus on corrupt police officers.

Brian Miller, director and writer of the film, said Grand Rapids was an obvious choice to film, even without the state’s new incentives for filmmakers. The film, he said, is a story about two police officers and criminal informant who are caught in the crossfire between a gang-related retaliation and their own police department, with the life of a child in the balance. “It’s a gut-wrenching thriller,” Miller said. “It’s a h*ll of a cast we put together.” (Michigan Live) Continue reading
