Lisa Evers breaks news of one of Hip Hop music’s biggest unsolved murders. More details will develop during the day.

Bria Myles broke the internet last week with a brand new photoshoot showcasing some very beautiful chocolate women at an unknown beach. This was a pleasant surprise due to the fact dark skinned women are consistently overlooked in current beauty standards and rarely get high profiled looks in magazines and music videos. Not sure when this will drop but Facet Studio will be the best resource to find out… Hit the jump from more of the photoshoot…

[video] Rowdy Rebel Gives Update on Case, says Epic Records not responsible for their Bail

I am glad that he owned up and took responsibility concerning their present indictment and incarceration and took the onus off of Epic Records to bail them out. Over the last year we have heard people including 50 Cent, and Dr. Boyce Watkins call on LA Reid to bail out Bobby Shmurda. LA Reid on a recent Rap Radar podcast explained why he could not bail out Bobby and he was pretty much slammed after the fact. The audio of his recent interview with Revolt TV is kinda muddy so I am posting the transcript below:

via Latenight Creeps

“It’s a waiting process right now,” Rowdy said, “My spirits are good, I ain’t letting nothing drag me down or what God has planned for me. It’s all in God’s hands.”

Maintaining the music behind bars, he goes on to add, “Only update I got right now, is that I’m about to drop a mixtape since I know the streets have been waiting. Its’ called Shmoney Keeps Calling, and even though I’m locked out that shit keeps calling me.”

And as far as Epic’s defense, he commented, “I didn’t expect Epic to get us out, because at the end of the day we’re not the best of friends, they just signed us to their company. They don’t feel the pain that my family and friends feel, but on the business side, they did invest in us. They don’t really owe us nothing.”

[video] Snoop Dogg has officially ‘Jumped the Shark’ with ‘OLE OLE’

I’m all for rap artists jumping into different genres if it sounds dope. This right here, is clear reaching on the part of Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg.  The white chick with the nice little apple booty is named Ljupka Stević and I seriously doubt she had anything to with this collab. First off the song is listed as Snoop Dogg feat. Ljupka Stević but in reality he doesn’t appear until about half way through and the video was uploaded on her Youtube page. Maybe Snoop was really feeling the song (heavy sarcasm) or did a favor for her label. Who knows. But Snoop is rich enough to turn down some of these songs that just further tarnish the end of his career.

Lupe Fiasco accepts Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) Rap Battle Challenge, Takes Shot at Drake

UPDATE: MOS backed out like I thought.

Let’s hope this really goes down and not just a bunch of talk. We have seen this type of talk before and nothing materialize so I am gonna remain skeptical. Lupe’s answer after the cut .

“Me, Black Thought and King Los versus ANYBODY,” the 41-year-old Hip-Hop mainstay screamed. “I don’t care who you tell…Red Bull Music Academy, put up [$1 million dollars on the contest] and we’ll give our winnings to charity and take your money too. I’m tired of these dudes pretending like they dope. You alright but relax. The dope ni**as that think they dope, you ain’t as dope as you think.”
