Kung Fu Kenny drops visuals to ‘DNA’ off the instant classic album DAMN.
Compton, California, is one of hip-hop’s most celebrated locales, the birthplace of acts like N.W.A. and, more recently, Kendrick Lamar. It’s also home to a complicated gang culture. Noisey Bompton centers around Kendrick Lamar and the friends he grew up with on the West Side of Compton, many of whom feature on the cover of his album ‘To Pimp A Butterfly.’ n the first of six segments, we sit down with Kendrick to talk about his acclaimed albums, pay a visit to his high school, Centennial, and get to know his childhood friend Lil L.
Noisey Bompton is a new documentary made by the people who brought you Noisey Atlanta and Noisey Chiraq. It’s the first episode in an eight part series, NOISEY, on VICE’s upcoming TV network VICELAND. Each episode focuses on a different city, its major stars, and the stories and issues that influence its music scene.
Lmao. Sorry peeps but its not a song.
Enjoy this people because we don’t get epic rap videos like this anymore. With cameos from Terry Crews and Corey Holcomb.
This should finally put this issue to bed. After the cut I am adding the full version to ‘Look out for Detox’.
K Dot drops the visuals to his banger King Kunta.
King Kendrick cannot miss right now.
Kendrick Lamar supporter Peter Rosenberg was privy to hearing four new tracks off Kendrick’s new album and had nothing but a glowing review of what we are to hear hopefully the top of next year.
Kendrick caught another body on this one and the beginning of the track is the same sample from Jay’s Z D.O.A(Death of Autotune). Sorry the DL link got the Funk Flex tags.

California emcee Jay Rock was recently exonerated as the lead suspect of a drive by shooting in his Watts neighborhood.
Jay Rock, real name Johnnie McKenzie, was arrested on Wednesday April 29 as the primary suspect in the shooting. Footage of the arrest was disseminated throughout the internet last week. In the 3 minute clip, an agitated Jay Rock is shown in custody on a curb outside his home, while friends shout epithets at the police.
Despite being cleared of the charge, authorities still detained Jay Rock for several days on undisclosed outstanding warrants. The Watts emcee was eventually bailed out in time to make a scheduled Utah concert last weekend.
With a background in the Bloods street gang and explicit songs about his Watts neighborhood, Jay Rock represents one of a handful of new “Gangsta Rap” artists with breakout star potential. He hit the national scene last year courtesy of the single “All My Life,” which featured Lil Wayne and Will.i.am. Since then, he’s gone on to work with The Game, Lloyd Banks, and Busta Rhymes.
Jay Rock’s major label debut, Follow Me Home, is due out this fall through Warner Bros.
It seems that rapper Jay Rock has been arrested for suspicion to being involved in a drive-by shooting. Having just toured the country along with him and Nipsey Hussle on the LAX tour last month, I hope that this is some awful mistake and that he can return to being one of the rising stars of Hip Hop. No concrete details yet but we will keep you posted as information comes in.
While Hip Hop’s bloggerati descended to the Lone Star State to cover the closest thing that we have to Woodstock these days, the biggest story in Hip Hop made a pit stop in New York. Nipsey Hussle rolled into town on the GAME’s LAX tour. Now, just in case the irony was lost on you, here you have a Rolling 60 Crip on tour with two devout Bloods, The Game & Jay-Rock. Not only has the South Central wordsmith been defying logic and shattering stereotypes but he happens to be spitting unprecedented FIRE. This is the latest offering, the remix to the critically acclaimed “HUSSLE IN THE HOUSE.” Nipsey teams up with Jay-Rock and Brooklyn’s own Maino. If you listen to the outdated pundits he’s not suppose to be collabin’ with either one of these dudes, but as Nip continues to prove there is a new movement emerging out the West. Tell us what you think about this track.

Alot of speculation who’s the next out the West…we think the tale of the tape says it all
