“you gonna make me buy bottles for John McCain..”
This country is broken. When anti-war protesters are treated this way it shows we have no allies in Washington and that the political process is a joke. Henry Kissinger is a war criminal who needs to be arrested and sent to jail for the rest of whatever life he has in that overweight body of his. America will self destruct as long as these type of people are in charge .
Sen. John McCain had some choice words for a group of protesters heckling former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger Thursday. McCain called the protesters ‘low-life scum,’ and kicked them out of the hearing. (Jan. 29)
There has to be some kind of huge ethical violations she is trying to avoid by stepping down as govenor of Alaska.
After Sarah Palin’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week she has announced she will be stepping down in a few weeks. In a press conference call this morning, Alaska’s Governor Sarah Palin has announced she will not run for re-election and is stepping down as governor.
She had a brief statement. She took no questions.
Her commissioners and Lt. Governor were with her at her home. Palin did not relinquish the reigns of the state to the Lt. Governor while running for vice president.
Lt. Governor Sean Parnell will step in as governor at the end of the month. He was defeated by Congressman Don Young in the Republican primary last year.
Rumors of an “iceberg scandal” have been circulating.
Ludacris, the self-proclaimed “mouth of the south,” made nice with former presidential hopeful John McCain over this past weekend, after making some disparaging remarks about the Republican Arizona senator on record last year.
The rapper/actor reportedly apologized to McCain and his wife Cindy during last Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game according to E! Online.
Luda made headlines last year when his track, “Politics (Obama is Here)” was publicly panned by President Barack Obama for using such lines as “McCain don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralyzed.”
(CNN) — Chris Rock is best known for two things: being funny and being crass.
“This is what people come to see. I’m just doing my show,” the comedian said with a laugh.
He’s also known for his political commentary, but there’s one person he’s having a lot of trouble making fun of — president-elect Barack Obama.
This is apparent in his new DVD “Kill the Messenger,” which combines three shows from his international tour: New York; London, England; and Johannesburg, South Africa.
“It was a tour nobody wanted to do… because the general perception is that comedy doesn’t translate,” Rock said.
But thanks to the Internet, the world is a lot smaller than it was even 10 years ago. And people are digging the same jokes, he said, including ones about John McCain and Sarah Palin.
As the DVD readies for release on January 20, CNN talked with Rock about his lack of Obama jokes, Inauguration Day and why racism will never die. The following is an edited version of that interview:
CNN: I watched the special last night, and I noticed that you did a lot of jokes about John McCain — his age, his war hero story — but not so many about Barack Obama. Is it harder to make fun of Obama? Continue reading

Oh, and I got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale…
For five years Ali and Mohammed have lived alongside US soldiers in their Baghdad neighbourhood near Rasheed Street, a prominent commercial artery running through the heart of the Iraqi capital.
During that time American culture and politics have become familiar to them, and they say that if they could, they would vote for Republican candidate John McCain in next week’s US presidential election.
“McCain would be best for Iraq because he would ensure stability,” said Ali, 66, an expert on the Sumerian era.
The personal qualities and political platforms of McCain and his Democrat rival Barack Obama are of little import to Ali, however. His focus is on Iraq and its neighbours such as Iran.
“The Iranians believe that if Obama is elected he will not take action against them despite their nuclear ambitions. That worries me,” said Ali, sitting on an old bench in Al-Zahawi coffee shop.
“If the Iranians get the bomb they will become the Tarzan of the region,” said the former teacher and lecturer at the University of Baghdad, referring to the vine-swinging strongman of the jungle in old Hollywood movies. Continue reading
I dare any of you to say that racism does not exist in this country in these hick towns. These people are light years away from reality and are blaming Obama for what their own government did to them. When will these rednecks wake up and realize that they need to look at the real causes of problems in this country and across the world.
My question is why are these mofos not being arrested for threats against Obama?
Hold the presses! As we embark on the final lap of a long-winded Presidential Election, be aware of the scapegoating of ACORN. The accusations that are being made against this agency is ludicrous in it’s implications. Even if someone is filing for voter registration under the name of Icabob Crane, if Mr. Crane doesn’t show up with an I.D. and vote then there is no fraud involved. The Republican’s are now making baseless accusations about the millions of lower-income voters this agency has signed up. That’s like calling the kettle black, when one takes into account the two elections that were stolen at the hands of Republican henchmen (Diebold anyone?). We have substantial info that points to the Republican ruse to steal this election as well, and one of the integral parts of that scheme involves scapegoating ACORN and disenfranshising the minority vote. STAY TUNED…

PITTSBURGH — A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.
Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.
The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.
The Obama-Biden campaign released a statement, commenting on the attack. The statement said “Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.”
WASHINGTON (AP) – Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.
The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, “impetuous” Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier,” the message said. “Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush.” Continue reading
WASHINGTON (CNN) — The news over the weekend that former Republican secretary of state and ex-chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Colin Powell is endorsing Barack Obama was hardly unexpected.
Powell had been courted by Obama for months, as the junior senator from Illinois sought him out for advice on everything from Iraq to North Korea and all things geopolitical.
Yet the Powell endorsement was not just a pro-forma, “he’s my guy” announcement. Instead, in supporting Obama, Powell decided to get specific — and not only about McCain’s uneven performance during the financial crisis and his judgment (or lack thereof) in choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate. Yes they have fast tracked this for you guys
Amy Chozick reports on the presidential race from St. Louis.
Barack Obama attracted 100,000 people at a Saturday rally here, his biggest crowd ever at a U.S. event.
The crowd assembled under the Gateway Arch on a sunny Saturday afternoon to hear Obama speak about taxes and slam the Republicans on economic issues.
Lt. Samuel Dotson of the St. Louis Police Department confirmed the number of attendees piled into the grassy lawn by the Mississippi River.
I missed the debate due to a 4 hour flight from L.A to NYC but I am reading the reviews and things have not changed much for Sen. McCain. Here is a blog worthy moment from the guys at Huffington Post.
Some snippets from the entire article you can read here:
It’s January 20th. You take office. Look at what you’re confronting: the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression, the climate heating up faster than anyone imagined, dangerous nuclear instability around the world…
Two wars. Yeah, we got some problems.
Do you still want the job?
I tell you what — now is the time, I think, to want the job. Because this is going to be a transitional moment for the United States. We have these moments periodically. Obviously, I wish that the Bush administration had not run things into the ground so bad, but no matter what, we would have had some big decisions to make. We have a big decision to make about our energy. We have a big decision to make about health care. We have a big decision to make about how do we revamp our education system to compete in a global economy. We have a big decision to make about our foreign policy and how we deal with transnational threats like terrorism, climate change — eventually pandemic, refugee flows, genocide.
Tell me your reaction when you first heard that he had picked Sarah Palin as his running mate.
I didn’t know her, so it was a surprise decision. Look, you have to give them credit: It obviously energized the conservative wing of the party. And that’s worth something in politics. Continue reading
Okay it is my grand prediction that this will sell like hotcakes. They are probably rushing to get this on shelves at least two weeks before the election.
Tina Fey — there’s a new sheriff in town! A pornographic spoof of Sarah Palin was shot this weekend in the San Fernando Valley. “Who’s Nailin’ Paylin?” was quite the production, complete with grips (yes, we said it), craft services, the works.
The plot — two drunk Russians are driving their tank when it runs out of gas in front of Paylin’s home. You can take it from there.
Now for a minute there I though David Letterman was really riding on John McCain for not appearing on his program and then blaming his absence on rushing to Washington to fix the ailing economy.
It will be McCain’s 13th visit to the CBS program but his first since he angered Letterman by canceling last month.
Letterman was unhappy when McCain sat for an interview with Katie Couric instead of him on Sept. 24.
At the time he said he first felt like a “patriot” to let McCain off his commitment to deal with the economy but “now I’m feeling like an ugly date.”
A McCain spokeswoman said at the time that because of the economic crisis, the campaign “felt this wasn’t a night for comedy.”
Diddy takes McCain to task for his ‘biggest’ gaffe to date, refering to Obama as….”that one.” Might as well said, ‘that BOY over there!’
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President George W. Bush on Thursday established a transition team to help the new president elected in November and his administration as they prepare to enter the White House.
The order is aimed at ensuring “a seamless presidential transition,” White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
“This is especially important as our nation is fighting a war, dealing with a financial crisis and working to protect ourselves from future terrorist attacks,” she said.
Bush’s executive order set up the “Presidential Transition Coordinating Council” which will be headed by White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and include White House officials who deal with national security, counterterrorism and economic policy.
“The president has directed us to be forward-leaning in all of our efforts to ensure as smooth and effective a transition as possible,” Perino said. Continue reading
Apparently McCain hasn’t read the whopping three-page proposal that Paulson has laid out for the financial recovery but…he’ll skip the debate because of the seriousness of the financial crisis. This dude can’t be serious, can he?
Letterman takes McCain to church for skipping out on appearance.

MCCAIN: America this week faces an historic crisis in our financial system. We must pass legislation to address this crisis. If we do not, credit will dry up, with devastating consequences for our economy. People will no longer be able to buy homes and their life savings will be at stake. Businesses will not have enough money to pay their employees. If we do not act, ever corner of our country will be impacted. We cannot allow this to happen.
Last Friday, I laid out my proposal and I have since discussed my priorities and concerns with the bill the Administration has put forward. Senator Obama has expressed his priorities and concerns. This morning, I met with a group of economic advisers to talk about the proposal on the table and the steps that we should take going forward.I have also spoken with members of Congress to hear their perspective.
It has become clear that no consensus has developed to support the Administration’ proposal. I do not believe that the plan on the table will pass as it currently stands, and we are running out of time. Continue reading
My research on 125th St. with tourist from around the world confirms this poll. Unanimously they all say if they were ‘citizens’ of the Republic they would be casting their vote for Obama. They already say they view him as the “World Leader.” Well, let him get over these strategic hurdles in front of him and then we’ll see if the world stage is ready for what Barack is cooking.
US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.
All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.
In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins. Continue reading
Could you imagine Sen. Obama showing up with guns in every photoshoot. That angry blackman label would be popping all over the place!
This broad has certainly stirred up the Rpublican party but reports of her energizing women are bullsh*t becasue the stuff she suports are miles away from the average American woman. Sorry but the average woman hates guns and does not support banning abortion in all cases. Sarah Palin is straight media created phenomenon.

The always hilarious Triumph The Comic Dog at the Republican National Convention.
OPRAH’S STATEMENT: “The item in today’s Drudge Report is categorically untrue. There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show.
At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over.”
You guys should not be surprised at all, because she has not used her show as a pulpit for Obama. Let this broad wait until the big dance is over. She is lucky she is even getting a shot after talking so badly about Obama.
I just got this video from the good people over at Brave New Films and they encouraged me to pass it on and I am doing just that. Very great video because it shows you the vicious way that Fox News has been attacking Sen. Obama and at what lengths they will go to smear his name.
Did you see Barack Obama go on The O’Reilly Factor last night—right into the belly of the beast? While we didn’t want Obama to appear on FOX initially, he wisely chose the same night John McCain delivered his RNC speech (the same night FOX received some of its highest ratings) to make an appearance. Talk about stealing the GOP’s thunder!
Obama was no doubt trying to appeal to conservative voters, since 88% of FOX viewers voted Republican in 2004. But FOX won’t let their conservative base go without a fight. That’s why O’Reilly needled and interrupted Obama, trying to get him to simplify many of his answers—a far cry from the softballs O’Reilly lobbed at many prominent Republicans like Rudy Giuliani in the past. And that’s why FOX has been attacking Obama with the same relentless smear tactics that they used against John Kerry four years ago. Watch them use the exact same attacks.
Give me a bit and I will post video of his appearance on the O’ Reilly factor.

As the great bloggers over at the Huffington Post said Drip, Drip,Drip.
Check out Gov. Sarah Palin’s underage pregnant daughter who obviously is partying and have a few drinks with her friends. This is definitely not out of the norm in todays world but this broad Palin is taking shots at Obama when her own back yard needs fixing. This stunt will fail John McCain.
In an attempt to appeal to women, John McCain has chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate. But if she is against abortion rights then who does this help him in the long run?
Full story below:
DAYTON, Ohio (Reuters) – Republican John McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his surprise choice for running mate on Friday, adding a political unknown to the presidential ticket who could help him appeal to women voters.
Palin, 44, will appear with McCain later on Friday in a rally in Dayton, Ohio, as the Arizona senator grabs the political focus away from Democratic rival Barack Obama one day after Obama accepted his party’s presidential nomination.
“Governor Palin is a tough executive who has demonstrated during her time in office that she is ready to be president,” McCain said in a statement announcing the choice.
“She has brought Republicans and Democrats together within her administration and has a record of delivering on the change and reform that we need in Washington,” the statement said.
This vid is of an ardent supporter of Hillary who is vowing to never vote for an Obama presidency because she has solid proof that he was enrolled in a Muslim school and identified as a “Muslim” on paperwork. The reporter repeatedly grilled her and asked her what her sources were to which she replied a secret Congressional Report into Barack’s activities as a child in Indonesia. She cited a story we covered over [HERE] that supports her allegations about there being paperwork, even displaying photocopies of the “incriminating” evidence. In response the Obama supporters dismantle her limb for limb. Guess what, chances are they don’t care, they desperately want CHANGE. So, soon the argument will be even if he was once a Muslim should that exclude him from public service to the most diversely populated “countries” on the planet?
I thought McCain owned 10 houses.
I wonder how long it will take Fox to use this story against the Senator in some kind of twisted way. Somehow they will connect his brother’s misfortunes to him and say that he has neglected his own family and how could he be President. Bet on it.

Senator Barack Obama’s long lost brother has been tracked down for the first time living in a shanty town in Kenya, reports claimed.
The Italian edition of Vanity Fair said that it had found George Hussein Onyango Obama living in a hut in a ramshackle town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.
Mr Obama, 26, the youngest of the presidential candidate’s half-brothers, spoke for the first time about his life, which could not be more different than that of the Democratic contender.
“No-one knows who I am,” he told the magazine, before claiming: “I live here on less than a dollar a month.”

Come on McCain, big media has been saying this for years now. Also rappers such Jadakiss, TI, and Swizz Beatz amongst many other celebs have been voicing their distaste for bloggers.
Note: All these cats publicists call and email all day about getting their washed up clients on this blog and the rest of the community. We are at the forefront of new media and will cripple big media in a couple of years. All I can say is for them to get out the check books when it comes to Street Knowledge Media.
