Incest father writing a tell-all book in jail..

A photo taken by and released by the Austrian police with permission of Austria\'s prosecution office on Monday, April 28, 2008 shows suspect Josef F. at an unspecified location. Austria\'s police on Monday, April 28, 2008 questioned a man identified in a police statement only as Josef F., they say held his daughter captive for 24 years and sexually abused her in what stunned Austrians dubbed a \"house of horrors\" in Amstetten, a high-tech, windowless cell where she allegedly gave birth to at least six children. Two police forensics teams arrived on the scene Monday morning and technicians in white suits entered the apartment block in Amstetten, a blue-collar town about 120 kilometers (75 miles) west of Vienna. Dungeon monster Josef Fritzl is writing his memoirs in prison – to the horror of the daughter he held captive and raped.

Elisabeth, 42, who gave birth to seven children, is aghast at the thought of the world reading 74-year-old Fritzl’s account of her 24-year or deal in Amstetten, Austria, which he plans to sell to the highest bidder.

Frizl spends hours writing as fellow prisoners shout “Come out Satan – we want to play”.

A source said: “Elisabeth is appalled. It is like being violated all over again. He knows his story is worth a lot because she has made it clear she does not want to sell hers.”

Elisabeth was taken into the cellar in 1984, when she was 18. Frizl has yet to be charged.

Finally some good news to this horrible story.

The 19-year-old girl whose hospitalization exposed a shocking Austrian incest case is recovering well, her doctors and a family lawyer said Wednesday.
She and other children who were held captive, sometime for decades, are also slowly adapting to modern life, they said.

Kerstin Fritzl, who doctors placed in an artificial coma after she was admitted to a hospital in April for multiple organ failure, is now well enough to speak, stand and walk with assistance, her doctors said.

The two parts of her family — those who were locked in a basement, like Kerstin, and those who lived above ground, apparently unaware of the abuse of their mother and siblings — are getting to know each other again, the doctors and lawyers said.

Josef Fritzl also said in remarks relayed by his lawyer to the Austrian magazine News that he tried to care for his secret family members, taking flowers, books and stuffed toys to them in the dingy dungeon below his home in the town of Amstetten.

When I went into the bunker, I brought my daughter flowers and my children books and stuffed animals,” Fritzl said, adding he would watch adventure videos with the children while Elisabeth cooked their favorite meals.”And then we’d all sit at the kitchen table and eat together,” he said

“With every week that I held my daughter, my situation got crazier … it’s true, I thought repeatedly about whether I should let her go or not,” he said.

Elisabeth Fritzl, 42, was raped repeatedly since being lured into the dungeon built below the family home in a small Austrian town. Police said she had been “broken” by the experience

Elisabeth, who was described as pale and malnourished with hair that had turned white, has told police she was held captive since shortly after her 19th birthday, having been abused by her father since the age of 11.

The chambers had areas for sleeping, cooking and washing. Investigators said the basement labyrinth even contained a padded cell.
