Metta World Peace speaks with Dr.Boyce Watkins about his evolution since his days of playing in the NBA.
How ironic he did this against the Clippers when we are used to seeing them do this to the rest of the league time and time again. Definitely dunk of the year so far. Dominique Wilkins approves.

Kobe should be in Bologna by Wednesday or Thursday with his visa in hand for medical visits and then we can deposit the contract with the league,” Sabatini said. “I want to make clear that right now there are still no signatures. We’ve got to write the contract, which will then be read over and over again.”

NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant makes an appearance on the cover of the latest L’Uomo Vogue, the Italian version of Men’s Vogue. An event that really needs no intro and a rivalry born in 1960s has been renewed in the 2008 NBA Championships as the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers opened up game 1 of the Championships last night. For West Coast and LA rooted UNDFTD, they’ve thrown the proverbial first punch from a store perspective with the release of their “Boston Sucks” U-Man t-shirt created in collaboration with Lakers’ Lamar Odom. Are we going to see some retaliation from Boston’s end? Look for these to hit UNDFTD Los Angeles on Saturday as well as online at cart.undftd.com.

The best player in the league led his team to victory and is poised to get his first championship without Shaq. And hopefully those pesky cheerleader rumors will float away if he gets his fourth ring.
Bryant scored 17 of his 39 points in the fourth quarter, and the Lakers rallied from an early 17-point deficit to beat the San Antonio Spurs 100-92 on Thursday night and win the Western Conference finals in five games.
The Lakers are 12-3 in the playoffs, including 8-0 at Staples Center, where they haven’t lost in two months. They’ve won 14 straight home games and 21 of their last 24 postseason games at home.

The worst kept secret of the week is finally official. Kobe has snagged the MVP and looks to make it even sweeter with a NBA championship without a seven footer named Shaq. This is especially significant due to MVP-like seasons from Chris Paul, Kevin Garnett, and Lebron James.

“It’s Hollywood, it’s a movie script. The perfect ending would be for us to hold a championship trophy at the end of it,” Bryant said at a news conference attended by his teammates, club officials, his wife and two daughters.
“This is an award I couldn’t have won on my own. I can’t thank these guys (his teammates) enough. These are my guys, these are my brothers. Let’s get ready for tomorrow.”
Bryant received 82-first-place votes and 1,105 points in the media vote. He was followed by New Orleans’ Chris Paul (28 and 889), Boston’s Kevin Garnett (15 and 670) and Cleveland’s LeBron James (1 and 438).
