DJ Akademiks Speaks on IRS Putting a $5.7 Million Tax Lien on Rick Ross for Back Taxes from 2012-2014.
Meek speaking < Twitter Fingers Meek.
Meek Mill has built a career out of proudly representing Philadelphia. It’s not a new story that the rapper came from nothing; battle rapping on the streets while his friends held camcorders. Now, as he looks forward, the Dreamchaser explains what he hopes to achieve in his career next. This is Noisey Raps.
Rarely would I post an interview this long with all the distractions we have on the net and in daily life but this is going down as one of the best interviews in Hip Hop History. Props to Taxstone for not getting in the way of the gospel spoken by Sigel street.
Another L for Meek. If it comes to be fact that Meek wanted Quentin Miller to write for him as well and that he beat him up over it, he has taken L’s to a whole new level.
Quentin Miller confirmed a relatively-unknown tale involving him and the Dream Chasers while chopping it up with DJ Vlad. During the interview, Vlad shows Miller an unreleased clip from his Taxstone interview where he revealed knowledge about Meek Mill confronting Miller at a Los Angeles Nike store. After reviewing the clip, Quentin admits “it’s true” before describing what all happened that day.
According to Miller, Meek Mill didn’t care for his statement denying he was Drake’s ghostwriter last Summer. “I shed blood in the Nike store,” Quentin confessed as he recalled getting confronted by the group who first wanted him to retract his claim in front of paparazzi. After telling them no, the Dream Chasers proceeded to beat him up as he made Meek Mill out to be a liar. “I’m not a street n***a so you can have it,” Miller states in reference to Meek. “You can have the tough title – that doesn’t do anything for me.”
In the Taxstone interview, the media insider also claimed Miller was beat up because he wouldn’t write for Meek Mill, a rumor the rapper wants no parts of. “I’m not going into detail about that,” he firmly stated.
Meek needs to finally grow up and make better decisions. He has officially taken the biggest L of 2015 and it seems like it will continue into next year. Secondly, Rick Ross might be joining him as well with his own serious legal troubles. Safaree gets the last laugh here folks.

Meek Mill faces a potential prison sentence early next year after a judge in Philadelphia found the rapper guilty of probation violations.
The judge said Thursday she’s not sure she’ll keep Mill on probation after he repeatedly ignored travel and other rules she set for him in recent years.
The 28-year-old rapper, born Robert Williams, cannot work or perform before the Feb. 5 hearing except for community service.
Mill testified that he knows his “whole life is on the line” and tried to follow the rules.
Mill says he has dropped old friends from his entourage to spend time with his family and girlfriend Nicki Minaj. She was in court with him.
Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley sent Mill back to jail for five months last year for similar violations.

This is a great interview that all NYC artists should watch to get an idea of how the industry works and what you need to do to reach the radio airwaves. Though Ebro’s tone is kinda standoffish at least he is being honest and not sugar coating the realities of the fiercely competitive radio game.
DJ Akademiks gives an on point breakdown of Meek Mill’s non-response to Drake’s diss tracks that have been heating up the net for the past week.
Is this better than Charged Up? Gonna post Drake’s official response to Meek’s twitter rant after the cut.
They are not playing with William Roberts at all. Kidnapping is a serious charge that comes with hefty time. How will he finagle himself out of this one?
Ross and his bodyguard were arrested on June 24 for kidnapping, aggravated assault an aggravated battery charges in Fayette County, Georgia after the two allegedly pistol-whipped a groundskeeper who was working on his home. According to reports, the Florida rapper was having work done on his Fayette County home when he got into an altercation with one of the groundskeepers. The altercation allegedly was sparked because the groundskeeper—who lives on the property—had people over for his birthday in Ross’ house without permission the night before.
Police brutality and abuse of power against black people is one of our foremost problems in this country and around the world. Will it take all out anarchy for this madness to stop? Not even an infant child could make these pigs handle this situation any different.
So, this is the bullshit my son witnessed yesterday coming home from work. Dude’s crime? Not paying the $2.25 fare. Look at how small and scared his daughter is, and how he is treated by Septa & Philadelphia police, over $2.25!!! I thought Septa had a policy of allowing fareless riders the courtesy? I wish they would put hands on me while holding my kids!!! This police ‘entitlement’ mentality, which often leads to brutality, has got to stop!
Transit officers working for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority are under investigation after several of them were recorded by a cell phone pushing and shoving an African American man holding onto a baby for reportedly not paying his $2.25 fare.
