[video] Mob of Philly cops assault man holding baby for not paying his $2.25 fare

Police brutality and abuse of power against black people is one of our foremost problems in this country and around the world. Will it take all out anarchy for this madness to stop? Not even an infant child could make these pigs handle this situation any different.

So, this is the bullshit my son witnessed yesterday coming home from work. Dude’s crime? Not paying the $2.25 fare. Look at how small and scared his daughter is, and how he is treated by Septa & Philadelphia police, over $2.25!!! I thought Septa had a policy of allowing fareless riders the courtesy? I wish they would put hands on me while holding my kids!!! This police ‘entitlement’ mentality, which often leads to brutality, has got to stop!

Is the ‘NRA’ supporting the ‘Huey P. Newton Gun Club’?

NRA are mighty quiet when it comes to black people obtaining and carrying guns legally.

“A Texas gun club named after one of the founders of the Black Panthers Party marched in Dallas on Wednesday to protest against police brutality, KTXA-TV reported.

Around two dozen members of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club carried rifles and red, black and green flags as they marched through the city’s south side, sometimes chanting in support of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old man killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, on Aug. 9.

“If they don’t get these killer cops and corrupt cops under control,” a member identifying himself as Commander Drew X was quoted as saying. “What happened in Ferguson is going to be nationwide.”

[video] Thousands remember Eric Garner, Michael Brown on MLK Day

Continued prejudice against African-Americans and other minorities was the central focus of this weekend’s Martin Luther King Jr. commemorations. While honoring the civil rights icon who led millions in acts of civil disobedience throughout the country, marchers also called for a change to the justice system they feel continues to unfairly target communities of color, citing the recent deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. Open Letter Calls Out KANYE WEST for IGNORING Ferguson

Screen Shot 2014-10-28 at 10.19.57 AM

This lady’s letter was very heartfelt and though she calls out Kanye for being MIA when it comes to the important issues going on in Ferguson and across the country, to which even our President has had to discuss on occasion, she did it with intelligence love and with no judgement. Sadly Ye’ seems to be more concerned with the worship of Kim K. and making sure she is viewed as a fashion icon, his own problems behind the scenes within the lily white fashion industry, and being viewed as a genius than the plight  of the black community. Hopefully his silence is just temporary and he makes some strong statements in his new music releasing sometime soon.

Dear ‘Ye,

You have spent much of your career defying naysayers and the standards people have set for you. You refused to be intimidated by guys on the South Side of Chicago for your creativity. You broke free of being only a producer when you proved Jay Z wrong and became one of the biggest names in rap music. When music executives tried to control the content of your music, you released the now-infamous “Jesus Walks.” When Nike would not give you creative control over Yeezys, you took a deal with Adidas instead.

You are, by definition, defiant. And I love that about you.
