Diddy announces to the world that he has become Hip Hop’s first official billionaire.
“I started out as a young boy from Harlem, that couldn’t even be a waiter. They didn’t want me to be a waiter. So you know what I did? I became a billionaire!” #ForMotivationalUseOnly
Rapper’s get killed and the cases go cold. Strange how Rev. Run and DMC rarely, if ever speak about the unsolved murder of their friend and group member.
Jam Master Jay’s son TJ Mizell speaks candidly with Larry King about his father’s longstanding, unsolved murder. He says that because the late, great RUN-DMC DJ was part of the rap and hip-hop communities, his case isn’t being given the attention it deserves.
Hello, After more than 20 years, I’ve finally decided to tell the world what I witnessed in 1991, which I believe was one of the biggest turning point in popular music, and ultimately American society. I have struggled for a long time weighing the pros and cons of making this story public as I was reluctant to implicate the individuals who were present that day. So I’ve simply decided to leave out names and all the details that may risk my personal well being and that of those who were, like me, dragged into something they weren’t ready for.
Between the late 80’s and early 90’s, I was what you may call a “decision maker” with one of the more established company in the music industry. I came from Europe in the early 80’s and quickly established myself in the business. The industry was different back then. Since technology and media weren’t accessible to people like they are today, the industry had more control over the public and had the means to influence them anyway it wanted. This may explain why in early 1991, I was invited to attend a closed door meeting with a small group of music business insiders to discuss rap music’s new direction. Little did I know that we would be asked to participate in one of the most unethical and destructive business practice I’ve ever seen.
The meeting was held at a private residence on the outskirts of Los Angeles. I remember about 25 to 30 people being there, most of them familiar faces. Speaking to those I knew, we joked about the theme of the meeting as many of us did not care for rap music and failed to see the purpose of being invited to a private gathering to discuss its future….
After watching The Smalls “Warning” courtesy of WSHH, I checked out their youtube page and discovered they have done a bunch of these. I am shocked that these videos using the classic lyrics of Biggie Smalls have been around a whole year, and they need to send some love to WSHH for getting these some much needed shine. Take a peep at Episode 5 “PARTY AND BULLSHIT”.
The 90’s were on and popping again Friday night in Los Angeles during Dr. Dre’s pre-Grammy Party … but nothing was cooler than Puff Daddy reuniting on stage with his former protege Ma$e.
In honor of the greatest rapper dead or alive untimely passing on March 9, 1997, here is some footage of Notorious B.I.G performing “Get Money” with his buddy a rapper named Jay Z.
Extreme warning if you do not want to here a raw interview about Hip Hop and homosexuality, Masons, etc. do not listen to this interview, because it is definitely not kind to your favorite rappers. You have been warned.

The original post was done on my blog a few years ago by my former business partner and continues to garner a ton of comments. With the Mr. Cee tranny controversy in full swing, it is a fitting interview to re-post. This is the pre-DWTS Wendy Williams of NYC radio frame and her interviews were probably the most controversial stuff ever to hot the airwaves.
To those who say this is just a rumor. This would be the foulest April Fool joke in the history of April Fool’s and why would HSK risk a serious defamation lawsuit reporting this and it be a total lie. No one would risk a lawsuit over Mister Cee, trust me.
Come on Mr. Cee? Having oral sex with young boys? I have no idea how Hot 97 will try to sweep this one under the rug but this guy is obviously a closeted homosexual who has alot of things to deal with and getting arrested by NYPD is just one of them. If this is true The Finisher is Finished.
Hot 97 Deejay Calvin “Mister Cee” Laburn (executive producer of the Notorious B.I.G.’S debut album “Ready to Die”) was busted by NYPD cops before being hauled off to jail and charged with lewd conduct. It happened this past Wednesday at about 5:00 p.m. That’s when cops approached a parked car and caught Mister Cee in the act of receiving fellatio from a man inside the vehicle. The 44-year-old music man was booked at Manhattan’s 1st Precinct, located at West Street and Watts Street.
I guess a brand new record deal with Jay Z and Nikki Minaj being one of the hottest rapper on the planet has her back on her a-game. Still not with all the plastic surgery but the consensus is that this is the best she has looked in awhile.
