You said black people aren’t supposed to be Christians. What religion do you identify with?
I don’t want to say, but I’ll tell you about one form of the religion. It’s called 21 Divisions. When they brought the slaves over to the Caribbean, they syncretized all their African gods with Catholic saints. So in 21 Divisions there are black gods and goddesses, and my mother practiced that when I was little. Whenever problems happened, we turned to 21 Divisions to fix it. It’s funny, because my friends on the block in Harlem, their mothers would be like, “Oh, you fucking with that witchcraft. You working roots.” You can cleanse people with root work or do bad things to them. But 21 Divisions is celestial.

Nude Photos of Teens “Sexting” Reflect Inexperience

It’s 10 p.m. Do you know who your teenager is texting? And, more importantly, do you know what your child is texting?

A recent survey hosted by Teenage Research Unlimited found that 20 percent of teenagers have sent or posted nude or seminude pictures or videos of themselves.

The possible repercussions of these scandalous photos are tremendous. The original poster or sender loses control of the content once he sends or posts it on the Internet. Not only is this photo or video likely to be passed around the school, it is also likely to be passed around the Web — possibly for many years to come. 12 Year Old Stripper, Club Still Stays Open

In a bizarre case out of Dallas, it seems a 12 year old runaway was stripping for two weeks and the club where she danced nude has remained open despite being busted by authorities.

The sixth-grader danced at Diamonds Cabaret over a two-week period late last year, authorities say. They also say they found a 17-year-old girl working in the club in January.

“I think they just didn’t care,” her mother said. “She’s 12, but she’s got the body of a 20-year-old. All they were thinking about was the money she could bring in.”
