[video] Meet ‘Hulk’: The Giant 175lb Family Pit Bull

Too much of a risk to have a small child around pit bulls or the fact they are well experienced dog breeders make this a special case?

A TODDLER hangs off the back of a super-sized pit bull – that could snap a man’s arm with a SINGLE bite. But despite being a banned breed in the UK, breeders Marlon and Lisa Grennan say monster dog ‘the Hulk’ is 100 per cent trusted with their young son. Despite the lethal potential of 12-stone Hulk and the couple’s many other dogs, three-year-old Jordan has grown up with them within arm’s reach.┬áThe couple’s company Dark Dynasty K9s supplies animals to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals – as well as law enforcement around the world. They are trained to have ‘no fear’ and some specialist dogs can even run up the side of fences and walls to reach second-floor windows.┬áMany their dogs share their house on a sprawling 150-acre ranch in New Hampshire, USA. The dogs include more than a dozen highly trained pit bulls – and a single chihuahua.

This Wednesday, approximately 450 dogs were seized during raids in seven states. Animal welfare groups call this the largest simultaneous raid of dogfighting operations in U.S. history.

Each rescued dog will be evaluated in hopes of placing as many as possible in adoptive homes.

Animal welfare advocates worked with federal authorities for 18 months on this seizure. So far, 26 people have been accused of cruelties ranging from denying animals medical treatment to shooting poorly-performing dogs in the head and disposing of their bodies into a river or burning them in a barrel.

Porter on Vick: ‘All it was was dogs’

Just what Vick needs:

picture-3Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter commented on the possible reinstatement of former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick and, as usual, Porter shot right from the lip, according to a report on EPSN.com. Vick was convicted for his role in a dogfighting ring and is serving time in a Kansas federal prison. He’s scheduled to be released next summer.

“He’s already been punished enough,” said Porter (referring to Vick’s possible reinstatement after serving his sentence), who owns a pair of pit bulls and a Maltese. “They gave him his penalty. He paid his penalty. What else should they do to him now?

“All it was was dogs. They act like they don’t even like pit bulls anyway. That’s the funny thing about it if you want to get back on that topic. I got pit bulls, I got to put them under a different breed just to travel. So you can’t even fly pit bulls nowhere.

“It’s a breed they don’t care about. It’s not like he was fighting cocker spaniels or something that they like. They don’t really care too much about pit bulls.”

Profootballtalk.com reported that Porter let his pitbull loose and it killed a miniature horse.
