Sam Jack goes to bat for President Obama in this “Wake The Fuck Up” ad.
Been hearing a lot of good things about this Jeezy doc. Narrated by Samuel Jackson.
The biggest actor on the planet Samuel Jackson does an anti-gun PSA in dramatic fashion. Thanks to Donna D. for posting this.
People are going bat shit on Youtube that this snake probably did not survive. Explanation under the video.
We were driving 65 mph down a highway when my husband caught something out of the corner of this eye…a snakehead coming out from under our hood onto our windshield! Watch what happens after that..
They are saying this will not be up long, so enjoy it while you can. Is that Samuel Jackson? I think so.
After seeing G.I Joe this past weekend, I can’t wait to see Iron Man 2 because I know this cast and crew will not disappoint. This does not drop until 5/10 so this teaser will have to hold us over for the next few months. Enjoy this while it lasts!

Samuel L. Jackson is Marvel’s man. The actor, who just weeks ago was seemingly on the outs with the studio over reprising his role as Nick Fury, agent of spy outfit S.H.I.E.L.D., has signed an unprecedented nine-picture deal to play the character in a series of Marvel movies.
The movies include “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” “Captain America,” “The Avengers” and its sequels. Also on the table is the possibility of toplining a “S.H.I.E.L.D.” movie, which is in development. The actor, repped by ICM and Anonymous Content, made a surprise appearance as Fury at the end of the first “Iron Man,” throwing geeks into a tizzy and showing the first glimpse of Marvel’s plan to link all their slate of movies into one filmic universe.
Jackson and Fury were expected to be part of the sequel, but as Marvel negotiated with its cast, deals proved hard to come by. Terrence Howard was replaced by Don Cheadle. Mickey Rourke still doesn’t have a deal for the part of a villain despite almost two months of negotiations.

Reuters reports RZA [click to read] and Dallas Jackson are co-producing a remake of Berry Gordy’s cult classic martial arts film, The Last Dragon. Few details have emerged thus far, but Samuel L. Jackson has confirmed he will reprise the part of Sho’nuff the Shogun of Harlem. Dallas Jackson, whose previous film works include production on I, Robot and Norbit, is currently writing the script.
“I’m a huge fan of the original and look forward to bringing Sho’Nuff into the 21st century,” says Jackson.
The as-yet-untitled project will be included as part of Motown‘s 50th anniversary next year. After its release in 1985, the original Last Dragon grossed nearly $26 million. There is currently no word on if RZA will score the film as well. The Wu-Tang Clan’s primary beatsmith has previously scored Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill and also Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai. RZA and Samuel L. Jackson will also be working on the sequel to the Anime movie Afro Samurai, which is expected to be released in 2009.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Samuel L. Jackson ruled the North American box office for the second time this year, while moviegoers largely ignored three other new releases as overall weekend sales resumed their downward spiral.
According to studio estimates issued on Sunday, Jackson’s cop thriller “Lakeview Terrace” sold a modest $15.6 million worth of tickets during its first three days of release. It barely surpassed the $14 million opening for Jackson’s 2006 bomb “Snakes on a Plane.”
Overall sales fell 4 percent from the year-ago period to $93 million, said tracking firm Media By Numbers, and have now dropped for eight of the last nine weekends. Year-to-date sales are flat, and the number of tickets sold is down by about five percent, the company said. Continue reading

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jackson recently signed a two-year pact; that will have the accomplished thespian develop and executive produce a series of projects for CBS Paramount through his production company Uppity Films. Another television studio was interested in a deal with the box office star, but Jackson opted to go with CBS after a meeting with studio president David Stapf.
“Samuel Jackson is not only a fan of television but a really astute historian who knows it well,” Stapf told THR. “He knows wherein lies a good story, and he’s going to be a fantastic producer who is interested in all the genres on television.”

UPDATE : From Rich Johnston/ Lying In The Gutter
One thing missing from the film was the much-touted end of movie scene with Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury. I understand from British Film classification sources that the scene is in the print that they’ve approved for general release, but not in premiere or preview screenings, so as not to spoil the um.. surprise… bugger. Anyway, he’s recruiting for a group called The Avengers.
We regrettably report that Ghostface Killah and Samuel Jackson did not make the final cut and will not appear in the upcoming summer blockbuster “Iron Man” as previously reported. While details remain sketchy it was rumored that Ghost shot a piece as a sheik in Dubai while Samuel had a bit part as Nick Fury. Neither made the cut and apparently ended up on the cutting room floor. Hopefully they’ll make it to the DVD version. Oh well there goes my dreams of seeing Starks alongside Starks, swagg splashin’ in his full-length robe!

Peeped this over at Ill Seed’s blog and I’m like WTF gave Kells the right to go golden on ’em? I mean its his perogative like Bobby Brown but is it that he got the Midas Touch and doles out Golden Showers on minors, that he deemed it alright to completely swagger-jack the platinum-top Thong Man Sisqo?
P.S. he reminds me of Wesley in Demolition Man or Sam Jack in Jumpers
