[video] Tyrese Responds to Gay Allegations from Spanky Hayes “Cease and Desist Your Career”

Did Tyrese ever say it didn’t happen? I think Spanky got exactly what he wanted and that if Tyrese really wanted to hurt him he would of just ignored him and not even responded if the allegations are so ludicrous. Now people will see the response video and look up the original video that sparked this in the first place. Round to Spanky.

[video] Tyrese SLAMS, Real House Wives of Atlanta, Bloggers and Social Media says “They’re the Devils Work “

Tyrese gives his opinion of the effect that reality shows have on the black community and society at large. There are going to be a bunch of people who come at him for these statements, but the brother makes some very valid points. With the cat fighting and physical altercations that are the norm these days on reality television at some point this stuff if it hasn’t already will have a trickle down effect whether we like it or not. We have Flavor Flav to thank for this.

Micheal Bay says studio has done awful job promoting Transformers 2

A little controversy a few days before the movie opens can’t hurt at all, matter of fact he should of probably said this a few weeks ago. Can’t wait till Wednesday. This movie will open big, but still probably won’t do Dark Knight numbers.

Picture 34Michael Bay sent a scathing email to Paramount Studios before the release of “Transformers 2,” complaining in effect that his famous director friends would be shocked at the way Paramount was promoting the flick.

We’ve obtained an email dated May 4, 2009 — from Bay to Paramount head Brad Grey, along with a bunch of other Paramount honchos. Bay complains bitterly that Paramount’s ad campaign

for “Transformers 2” was tepid and ineffective.

“… I have been waiting, and waiting for the anticipation of an ‘event movie’ to make it into the ‘public zeitgeist,'” Bay writes.

Bay calls the print campaign an “abject failure,” with a “pathetic presence” in the L.A. Times. He’s especially pissed about the profile of the movie on the MTV Video Awards, calling it “so lame.”

But here’s the best part. Bay name-drops Jerry Bruckheimer, saying Jerry always told him “a studio that does not make [the opening of a movie] an event … will get bitten in the ass.” He then adds, “Besides my good friend Steven [Spielberg], Jerry has made a lot more successful movies then (sic) all of us.”

Bay then asks, sarcastically, “Is this is a cash issue with your company?”

In fairness, on June 6, Bay clearly had a change of heart, sending an email to Grey and others at Paramount, praising them for treating him well, adding …”Paramount is like family. Thank you all for busting your butts and bringing your ‘A game’ for the release of Transformers.”

Bet Steven and Jerry haven’t sent such a nice email to their studios!

Tyrese Gibson Says Rihanna Case Is ‘Taking A Toll’ On Chris Brown

via MTV

In an interview with People.com, Tyrese Gibson spoke out in support of his friend Chris Brown, as well as Rihanna.

“Although he appears to be really strong through all of this, it’s really taking a toll on his spirit,” Gibson reportedly told the site on Sunday at the 2009 Ball Up Street Ball Tour in Los Angeles. “People like me and Puff [Diddy], we’re just trying to show him love and keep his spirits up while he’s going through all of the heat, and there are a lot people doing the same for Rihanna.”

Since news broke in February of the alleged altercation between Brown and Rihanna, the pair reportedly reunited — staying at Diddy’s Miami home — but are now reportedly taking a break. Yet conversation around the incident has continued to rage, and was even the subject of a special episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” earlier this month and a disturbing public service announcement from the teen organization DoSomething.org.

Gibson also pointed out that the two are still quite young, which makes the situation even more difficult. “And a lot of people forget that he’s 19, she’s only 21.

“It’s really hard for him to focus right now on his music, even though he really wants to,” Gibson continued. “At the end of the day, I’m not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up onstage with a lot of people looking at us.”

Tyrese To Play B.A. Baracus In A-Team?

Tyrese as B.A. Baracus

via Wooohah

In a recent interview, Tyrese revealed that he is in talks with director John Singleton to play the role of B.A. Baracus in the upcoming The A-Team movie. This comes as a surprise since Ice Cube was rumored to be the leading candidate for months. However, Tyrese states that B.A. is “going to be a little different. We might keep the Mohawk, but we’re not going into no forty thousand chains. We’re going to 2009 Mr. BA.” The plot is also set in present day which leads me to believe this movie will be very loosely based on The A-Team TV show using only the show name and character names and little background from the actual show. Think Miami Vice the movie on this one.

What you think? Tyrese as B.A. or Ice Cube?
