Too much of a risk to have a small child around pit bulls or the fact they are well experienced dog breeders make this a special case?
A TODDLER hangs off the back of a super-sized pit bull – that could snap a man’s arm with a SINGLE bite. But despite being a banned breed in the UK, breeders Marlon and Lisa Grennan say monster dog ‘the Hulk’ is 100 per cent trusted with their young son. Despite the lethal potential of 12-stone Hulk and the couple’s many other dogs, three-year-old Jordan has grown up with them within arm’s reach. The couple’s company Dark Dynasty K9s supplies animals to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals – as well as law enforcement around the world. They are trained to have ‘no fear’ and some specialist dogs can even run up the side of fences and walls to reach second-floor windows. Many their dogs share their house on a sprawling 150-acre ranch in New Hampshire, USA. The dogs include more than a dozen highly trained pit bulls – and a single chihuahua.
According to The Guardian the former News of the World reporter, Sean Hoare’s death is not being considered as suspicious. Oddly enough, since Hoare was the first to go on record in the New York Times investigation concerning Andy Coulson and News of the Worlds phone-hacking practices. Hoare also revealed the use of “pinging” by News of the World, wherein reporters would call celebrities to track their location. This was a technique that was only to be used by police officers for high-level suspects.
” A former show-business reporter for the News of the World, Sean Hoare, who was fired in 2005, said that when he worked there, pinging cost the paper nearly $500 on each occasion. He first found out how the practice worked, he said, when he was scrambling to find someone and was told that one of the news desk editors, Greg Miskiw, could help. Mr. Miskiw asked for the person’s cellphone number, and returned later with information showing the person’s precise location in Scotland, Mr. Hoare said. Mr. Miskiw, who faces questioning by police on a separate matter, did not return calls for comment”
This old broad gets $60 million to do exactly what? Talk about welfare, I am surprised that the people of Britain are not outraged at this but I guess they like to finance the Queen’s bling for the past few thousand years. Trust me read below and find out that no remorse is needed for this old bat:
(NEWSER) – The British government now has the final say over how Queen Elizabeth II spends her annual $60 million allowance from the government. The monarch signed over official control of her spending in 2006, following cash-flow problems that saw her borrow another $3 million from the government, reports the Independent, which discovered the agreement through a Freedom of Information Act request.
I’m surprised that no one is chatting up this monumental event that is dawning upon us…the return of none other than the undisputed King of Pop Michael Jackson. He will be doing 50 consecutive shows in the UK this summer and this is a clip of the mega audition they had to select the lucky dancers who will become a part of instant history.
I will believe it when I see it.
Michael Jackson is expected to announce a series of comeback concerts in London, music industry sources said on Tuesday.
The 50-year-old last appeared at the World Music Awards in London in 2006, but the much-hyped return of one of the biggest selling artists of all time was a critical flop after he sang only a few lines of “We Are The World.”
The sources, who asked not to be named, said the singer may appear at a press conference at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday. His record label Sony did not have any immediate comment.
Legislators in the UK are considering reversing Tony Blair’s reclassification of marijuana from a class B to a class C drug. Authorities are citing the danger that a new potent strand of weed presents (read HAZE) saying that it accounts for 80% of the cannabis seized on the streets of the “Kingdom.” From analysis they are saying this weed is three times stronger than the cannibis in circulation circa 1995.
“There is a compelling case for us to act now, rather than risk the future health of young people…Where there is a clear and serious problem, but doubt about the potential harm that will be caused, we must err on the side of caution and protect the public”
The advocate for change, Jacqui Smith, who is the home secretary wants to reclassify the “herb” back to a class B which will make it punishable by up to 5 years in prison and classify it in the family of amphetamines and barbiturates. Unlike their American counterparts who have grouped pot with LSD and Heroin (Class A in the UK) the British are a bit more liberal when dealing with cannabis.
Here take that, take that Noel Gallagher. Not only is Jay-Z still confirmed to headline the Glastonbury Festival amidst complaints by the 40-year old head of rock group Oasis, but Jay will be “swagg-splashing” all over the UK this summer. He has been booked to do six shows in Cardiff, Bournemouth, Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen in July.
He will be launching his arena tour July 3rd at the Wireless Festival in London’s Hyde Park and rapping up the festivities on the 21st at the AECC in Aberdeen event on July 3. Apparently not dismayed by the “hate” coming from a small selection of British rock acts, Jay, ever the diplomat said, “I’m looking forward to seeing my UK fans again. There’s an amazing vibe and energy in the UK.”
No word yet as to whether Mary J. Blige will be joining him on this leg of his tour.
Tickets for the arena tour are available from 0844 576 5483 or to buy online at http://www.livenation.co.uk.
The frontman for rock group Oasis has denounced the inclusion of Hip Hop in the upcoming Glastonbury Festival, where Jay-Z is scheduled to headline. Noel Gallagher believes integrating Hip Hop into the hstorically “rock” based festival will transform the integrity of the event. “If it ain’t borke don’t fix it…If you start to break it then people aren’t going to go. I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance,” Gallagher said.
Glastonbury organizers believe that Gallagher is out of touch with the changing tides of music and not receptive to their plans to diversify their crowd. Previously, headlining acts would of sold the massive venue out but so far Jay-Z has managed to push sales to 100,000 on the first day with tickets still available. The remaining acts for the five-day festival will be announced on May 1. Kanya King, an organizer of the MOBO Awards is defending the Glastonbury organizers decision to go with Jay and believes his detractors have neither seen him perform nor are they familiar with his music.
“Given that Glastonbury is trying to reach a younger audience and diversify then I think it’s important that they embrace hip-hop,” she said.
“It seems only fitting that you should have a global superstar act like Jay-Z on the show.”
In the meantime, Oasis is completing their seventh studio album and looking for a recording home to release the disc on.
The signaling of the changing of the guard is taking place right in front of our face and a recent editorial featured in the UK’s Daily Mail titled Why China is the REAL master of the universe let the cat out the bag. China is quietly being crowned as the next emerging World Superpower while simultneously America is making her embarrasing descent into an inferior global position. The forecast is much bleaker than the talking heads on cable news tell-lie-vision(TV) would have unsuspecting Americans believe.
As the world bears witness China’s arrogance in terms of their handling of the Tibetans and their show of power in London (of all places) alongside the Olympic flame, more people are sitting up, taking notice and asking uncomfortable questions, like “Why are they getting away with this?” “Why aren’t Democratic governments denouncing these abuses?”
The Dogg Father is not one to take “NO” for an answer. Rather than be complacent with his ban from the United Kingdom that stemmed from a brawl Snoop’s entourage got into with over 30 people at London’s Heathrow Airport in May of 2006, resulting in seven officers being injured, Snoop has been appealing his status. An asylum tribunal reversed the decision and voted to lift the ban in January, only to have this decision contested by the British government that opposes Snoop setting foot on British soil. “We were disappointed with the judge’s decision in this case and have challenged his decision. This hearing is due to take place on the 7th of April. It would not be appropriate to comment further while these proceedings are ongoing,” a spokesman for the U.K.’s Border Agency said. Snoop, in an interview wth The Guardian responded, “People in London always get information on me as far as when I go to jail and my criminal record,“ the rapper complained. “They never hear about my football team, my wife, my kids, my standing in the community, the gang interventions that I do. They don’t give a f**k about it!” Stay tuned.
