Nick out here speaking the gospel.
Nick out here speaking the gospel.
DMV native Crank Lucas has become a viral sensation for his hilarious skits which often spoof hip-hop. This time around the rapducer releases a video that documents the evolution of hip-hop over the last few decades from the fashion trends, video styles and the watering down of lyrics.
Basically he put his recent interviews on VLAD TV into a rap called ‘Exposed’. Hook sounds kinda Dr. Dre and Eminemish. You be the judge.
Real talk from Mysonne.
Mysonne opened up about a line about Future in a recent freestyle with Funk Flex, where he rapped, “Future said: ‘God blessin all the trap n****s’ / I got a question for that: “Where u at n***a?” He explained that he was speaking about the lyrics in Future’s music where he raps about the riches of the street life without talking about the pitfalls and consequences.
He went on to explain the difference in lyrics from Pusha T and Jay Z, who explain what will happen if you decide to go down the road of selling drugs, but Mysonne said that similar messages aren’t made in Future’s songs. To hear more of what Mysonne had to say, including how Future’s music negatively influences kids, hit the above clip.
In Nick Cannon’s recent interview with VladTV, Vlad brings up the fact that Nick Cannon has been a celebrity since he was very young. Nick immediately dispels the notion that he is out of touch or “in a bubble.” “I’m on the ground level,” he said, “I do so much that people don’t know about…to make sure these young people have opportunities.” From there, Nick describes his career arc, from growing up in a rough neighborhood, to breaking onto Nickelodeon, to making money and gratifying his ego, and now to giving back to his community. He also states that while a lot of celebrities claim gangs, it’s a source of insecurity and that he “never wants to glorify it.”
“..criminals are made..”
Dr. Umar Johnson shared his thoughts on a variety of topics during a recent sit-down with VladTV, including how prisons are continuing slavery today, Colin Kaepernick’s protest, and Jay Z’s ability to start change today.
Lord Jamar shared his thoughts on slavery and Native Americans during a recent interview with VladTV, and the New York rapper said that there is substantial evidence to support that Africans are what we now think of as Native Americans. He explained that he has read about early settlers lying to unknowing younger generations about how they took from Africa and making them believe that they weren’t born in America.
The conversation also brought up evolution and skin color, which Lord Jamar believes starts with the mind, not geographic location. He also disagreed with evolution, as he told DJ Vlad that Black people were in Europe long before white people.
Boosie love him or hate him speaks straight from the heart. In the case his gives his thoughts on gay culture being pushed on the population through the media to children.
Gonna give Russell credit for keeping it 100 here when he speaks on the impact of Chuck D on Def Jam and Hip Hop culture on a whole.
The burning question most hip-hop heads have is: Why did Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons split up? While talking to DJ Vlad, Russell explained that they went on to work on different projects and focused on other artists. As for Simmons ultimately walking away from his position at Def Jam, the mogul says that he built it and gradually started pulling away from his post while juggling his other business ventures, and relied on the people who were smarter than him, who he believed in.
Watch the full interview above to hear Russell explain why he’s never had a rap beef, Chuck D inspiring the Million Man March, and much more.
Another L for Meek. If it comes to be fact that Meek wanted Quentin Miller to write for him as well and that he beat him up over it, he has taken L’s to a whole new level.
Quentin Miller confirmed a relatively-unknown tale involving him and the Dream Chasers while chopping it up with DJ Vlad. During the interview, Vlad shows Miller an unreleased clip from his Taxstone interview where he revealed knowledge about Meek Mill confronting Miller at a Los Angeles Nike store. After reviewing the clip, Quentin admits “it’s true” before describing what all happened that day.
According to Miller, Meek Mill didn’t care for his statement denying he was Drake’s ghostwriter last Summer. “I shed blood in the Nike store,” Quentin confessed as he recalled getting confronted by the group who first wanted him to retract his claim in front of paparazzi. After telling them no, the Dream Chasers proceeded to beat him up as he made Meek Mill out to be a liar. “I’m not a street n***a so you can have it,” Miller states in reference to Meek. “You can have the tough title – that doesn’t do anything for me.”
In the Taxstone interview, the media insider also claimed Miller was beat up because he wouldn’t write for Meek Mill, a rumor the rapper wants no parts of. “I’m not going into detail about that,” he firmly stated.
This was obviously filmed before Bill Cosby was formally charged with sexual assault.
During our hilarious – albeit serious – interview with comedian Eddie Griffin, the established Hollywood actor decided to share tales of his personal bouts with both Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson. Griffin was (and continues to be) a supporter of the two men who have faced an onslaught of ridicule for sexual allegations in numerous separate cases. “There is a systematic effort to destroy every Black male entertainer’s image,” Eddie told DJ Vlad. “They want all of us to have an asterisk by our name.” Griffin believes, like Michael and Bill, that most African-American male entertainers are singled out for their illicit behavior. “Nobody leaves this business clean,” he stated while pointing out the cases of others. “You’re not going to die clean.”
I decided to repost this throwback interview because it is still one of the most popular posts on this blog after all these years. People cannot get enough of Pinky admitting the shocking truth that she caught multiple STDs from a porn career (heavy sarcasm).I also added the Vlad interview which also went viral.
One of the most popular subjects on this blog is Pinky the porn star. She consistently gets a lot of interest, negative and positive, from both male and female.
This is actually pretty shocking to hear Pinky admit to having multiple sexual diseases contracted from working in the porn industry albeit with such a nonchalant attitude. The company line in the porn industry has always been to shun any talk of disease and to highlight who incredibly safe they are. This right here proves otherwise and shows that you guys out there better keep the reality of these fantasies in front of your computer screen.
Even weirder is the story she tells about being in love and how her boyfriend feels about her having sex on camera.
The Vlad interview.
Real words from Banner.
During a hiatus from the rap game, entertainer David Banner pursued an acting career and appeared in several films before realizing the unsettling reality of it all. “Why [do] I always gotta drive a Black Escalade and just get out of jail?,” he asks of the “thug roles” he was given time and time again. “Is that all Black people are good for?”
Definitely did not see this coming. Though he was often ridiculed for having dark blotches on his skin never would I have thought he would get plastic surgery and bleach his skin. Hit the jump to see the newly knifed up and significantly whiter Charlemagne who gets playfully ridiculed by co-host Angela Yee in some random video.
Don’t always agree with Charlamagne but he hit a ton of key points with the bullshit put out Kanye Kardashian.
Vodpod videos no longer available.
Don’t know too much about the guy doing the interview but he definitely asked all the questions everyone wants to know from Ms. Montana Fishburne.
I am still amazed at how easy and nonchalant this girl is about joining the porn industry and really not caring about how this has affected her parents.
Well I guess Chris Rock was right. If you have not seen some of this movie you be my guest it is not pretty. Lastly about her ‘leopard booty’ she also had alot of herpes looking bumps on the front of her private area. Laurence please kidnap this girl and put her in rehab, she is making Lindsey Lohan look like an angel.
