In an very intense interview (sans Whoopi Goldberg), Omarosa speaks with the ladies on the View about her role in the White House and her commitment to helping the Black community. She also speaks about her upbringing in the hood and how gun violence has effected her life.
At this point is she just trolling or she actually feels this way? I say its both and its high time we stop getting upset at what she says. She obviously has a white washed world view and no matter how up in arms we get that is not changing.
After the shitstorm that ESPN anchor Stephen A. Smith caused on Friday with his comments regarding the punishment Baltimore Raven’s player Ray Rice for his assault of his wife in an elevator (who admittedly said she assaulted him first) very few jumped to his defense. View moderator and host Whoopi Goldberg took a stance defending Stephen A. Smith and made the bold statement that ” If You Hit a Man Don’t Be Surprised if He Hits Back ” on Monday’s broadcast.
Well Whoopi defending jerks like Mel Gibson actually started back when she defended Ted Danson some years back at the Friars Club when he decided that going in blackface at some tribute to her.
So I am not surprised at all that Whoopi would make excuses for Mel and his racist statements against Blacks, Jews, and Mexicans.
Whoopi probably should of stayed out of the Polanski issue, because the cross dressing Kennan Thompson and Fred Armisen impressions are spot on.

In between rescuing Darfur and finding a way to crate peace in the Middle East, diplomats over at the United Nations will welcome some very unusual panelists on March 17th — the team behind the hit TV series Battlestar Galactica. According to reports, the creators and stars of the hit show will appear at the UN for a retrospective of the show’s four seasons as well as a panel discussion on how the series contends with topics such as “human rights, children and armed conflict, terrorism, human rights and reconciliation and dialogue among civilizations and faith.”
“Battlestar” stars such as Mary McDonnell (who plays president Laura Roslin on the show) and Edward James Olmos (Admiral William Adama) will be in attendance along with executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick.
Panelists from the UN will include Radhika Coomaraswamy, special representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict; Craig Mokhiber, deputy director of the New York office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights; and Robert Orr, assistant secretary-general for policy planning, executive office of the Secretary-General.
Moderating the entire showcase will be hard-core Battlestar fan Whoopi Goldberg.
The event is an invitation-only affair — bowing three day’s before the series’ finale in the UN’s Economic and Social Council Chamber. Luckily for Battlestar devotees, the Sci-Fi Network is taping the entire affair and transcripts will be released.
What a relief!
Bill Maher (Mr. Supahead), who was on The View promoting his new flick Religulous had to ether the super-Christian Sherri Sheperd after she got testy because Bill exposed her beloved Jesus as being a knock-off of Horus. Whoopi proceeds to promptly pull the plug on poor lil’ Bill right after.
There they go with that damn word again. The “N” word has found itself in the middle of another debacle, this time played out on national television between Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselback who broke down in tears when trying to explain why she feels the word needs to put out of it’s misery.
The View co-host found themselves grappling to find a common ground, with Whoopi informing Elisabeth that they are from two separate worlds, so there are ‘things’ and customs that may be foreign to her limited understanding. Elisabeth, having a kumbaya moment, asked what needs to be done to bridge those worlds so a more concrete understanding could be forged.
Then she got super emo and broke down and shed some crocodile tears. At this point, Barbara shut sh*t down but I’m sure they’re rehearsing part two right now for tomorrow’s show. Damn, that Nasir…talk about perfect timing.
